I dislike the art and the concept of the character, I don't think I can get behind this.

@k4tzm4n: I've been wanting more Kraven for ages.

I'd like a new team, here me out.

Ares return still believes himself an Avenger, Avengers aren't interested ("screw them I'll get my own team"). He remembers Sandman was an Avenger he's in. Remembers Kraven was an Avenger asks him he says no but Ana wants to, Kraven joins reluctantly.

Other possible members are Moonstone, Constrictor and Daken.

Major plots being Ares still proving he's a hero, Kraven and Ana's relationship and Sandman finally putting himself straight.

@rustyroy: I wouldn't say Quinn or Ghul as to be iconic one must be recognised and neither of these are known very well to people out side batman readers.

@sc: you just described a perfectly written Ares lol.

I think we are on similar wave lengths.

An Avengers team made of cut throats nearly.

If I remember correctly when Norman made Dark Avengers Ares didn't see a probl being on the team as he believed they'd still achieve the same thing. It's kinda like Ares wants to be a hero but most naturally isn't. I find it hard to see him take orders when even the Olympians ask him for help and he is their General in times of war so to then follow a human seems also against his nature.

"The new generations of readers have a totally different idea of Venom; most of them don’t even know that once he was a bad guy."

uuuuummmmmmmm..... sorry but i believe the new generation have either watched the cartoons, played Marvel Lego or are at least aware of the history of the character.

Just because some new readers who are the minority of readers, can't be arsed to delve into the Marvel Universe and stubble across such gems as Eddie Brock Venom shouldn't change the character.

When i started reading comics finding characters history's was the fun part, feeling like "wow, that explains why this guy hates that guy and so on and so forth.

His head looks like the destroyers.
