My personal favorite Publishers.
I didn't include Vertigo as If I'm not mistaken it's just a branch of DC, I did however include Top Cow, which I think is a branch of Image, but I'm not entirely sure, as the whole thing is rather stupid and confusing.
The Walking Dead, Spawn, Haunt, Saga, Chew, The Maxx, Invincible, Shadowhawk,
Lots of Garth Ennis and Alan Moore come from Avatar which is mostly why I like them so much. The Courtyard, Neonomicon, Crossed, Chronicles of Woormwood, the living dead comics, so yeah, lots of nice horror comics.
Locke & Key, 30 days of night, TMNT, Star Trek, Dr Who, Transformers, Ghostbusters, Silent Hill... Must I say more?
Some great Characters and series have come from Top Cow, my favorite being The Darkness, but you also have Witchblade, Velocity, Artifacts, Ian Nottingham, so forth and so on.
So Tokyopop made it on my list, sure they deal in manga but those are graphic novels aswell. ANYWAY they publish quite a list of great great graphic novels, including one of my all time favorites, Battle Royale.
If Alan Moore likes them then why shouldn't I? They have league of extraordinary gentlemen, from hell, under water welder, and many other great graphic novels.
It's only last on the list because it doesn't exist anymore, well at least the comic book side of Fangoria. I very much enjoy every comic they made "Bump" in particular, it's just a shame they didn't make it. At least I can still enjoy their other products.
