@Mr_Wayne69: My issue isn't with the idea of prep its that some comic readers use it as all mighty device for their character to win(most cases this applies to Batman). I have nothing against Bats but I just get tired of people saying he would win with prep. I will give credit where credit is due he is a high level character for not having powers, not just because of his gadgets but also his tactics. But as you put any real fighter knows that prep is important but also being able to win when caught off guard is important too. You can practice for a whole year for a fight but all that practice and prep goes out the window once you get hit. Tony can design an armor for a certain opponent but what if the armor fails, Supes can plan to out muscle an opponent but what happens when that opponent has gotten stronger then him.........even with knowledge of who you're fight it doesn't determine you'll win because you have time to prepare.

God I'm so tired of hearing people say this person could win with prep......lets be real if a normal person was given enough time they could take on Superman(Lex Luthor and Batman are examples). If you know what you are dealing with and how to deal with it then you should win a fight going into it. I can beat Brock lesnar in a street fight if I have prep time. The real judge of a fight is a straight up fight with no prep and I'm sorry if you take prep from a lot of these smart characters they wouldn't last long in fights against high tier characters. With all that said yea James brings this one home.

Cap is a symbol that people can relate to, as was said he does what he does because its right. He can die just as easily as any other human but he fights Gods, aliens, beings that can level cities, and creatures that give the most powerful heroes pause. At times he fights when no one else is left to fight, heck even Thor sees this and that's why he follows him, think about that a God who seeks glory follows a mortal. He is what people hope and strive to become, when you think of heroes. Lets be honest when you see Superman, Ironman, Thor, Hulk, Green Lantern and so on see there powers first with him you see a man and shield and nothing more. Superman may (I said may, don't want to start an arugement lol) be the U.S's most powerful hero but Cap is its son and hope.

Even with prep he doesn't need Gamora because he has prep and the Worldmind which technically makes this a 3 vs 4 match because the Worldmind may not physically fight, he does guide Nova. This isn't the old Rider this is the Rider who fought in two Galactic wars and lead his side to victory both times, I think if he can come up with a way to subdue someone in Gladiator's race he can take out Sue easy enough. Speed, strength, power, and the Worldmind backing him Rider takes this, Gamora sits back and laughs while he does it. Note I'm not taking away from Reed, he is one of the most dangerous beings with prep on his side but when both sides get prep that advantage gets taken down a lot.

Tier 10-Anti-Monitar and Galactus, Tier 9-Darkseid, Neckron, and Thanos, Tier 8- Helspont, Superman, Thor, Silver Surfer, Mr. Majestic(I put them all on the same level because depending on the situation and how they fight, their battles could go either way because they can all hurt each other)

I'm still kind of lost on the radiation thing, can they or can't they copy different types of radiation?

Screw everybody who clowns me for this but I love the character. I will admit some of his stories were horrible but lets be real if one day you ended up with God like power how stable would you be. Sentry was a step in showing how all that power could affect a real average person. Yea I'm one of those people who says he had potential mainly because he was capable of great things but sadly he never reached them. I hope and pray they bring him back with a great story.

I normally don't post on comic movie topics as I have very mixed feelings about comic based movies, but I have to agree with the OP. Anybody who knows the JL knows that Batman was always special because of Bruce. He was the only normal person in the original members. I mean think about it the members could move planets, battle mystical and galacticevil, move from one side of the planet to the other in seconds, yet Bruce was always respected and at times feared by its members because of what he was capable of, Superman even mentioned on a few occasions that he'd look to Bruce to take him down if he got out of control. With all that said having some random made up character be Batman would just down right piss me off. I'm not even a big DC fan but even I know this is just flat out wrong. I love JGL, but I refuse to have him replace Bruce just simple due to finding a way to put him in the movie. While I agree with enough training his character might be able to take over the mantle, he should not be in a JL movie, heck I'm still pissed Hawkeye and Black Widow beat out Hank and Janet(though I understand why) for Avengers.

Pete needs a few team ups all with heavy hitters so he can learn to throw his weight around (Thing, Hulk, Herc, Wonder Man, heck even Rulk). He needs to learn to unleash his muscle a bit and let go a bit. I mean he's been beat on, dumped on, corrupted, manipulated and lied to and that's by the people close to him, I want him to man up and start knocking the heads of more then just robots and going all out on and show us what he can really do.......hopefully Cable can bring that out.
