@matteopg: I cant speak as an artist, but as a comedian I try to be a realist too. The bad 5-panels (and believe me, some of them embarrasses me), or just jokes, I have made was when I was too cocky.

@samimista: the good thing about stick figures is that they don't distract from the message, like in Cyanide and Happiness :)

I'm realistic! Also, it's rare to find someone who is completely happy with what they draw, even among really good people ;)

Still, it's good to be a little showboaty if you want to get better at some artform.
