Fear Itself in 5 panels

I am Odin, and I love my son.

I think... COFF COFF... I know what its like to be Tempest...

How can I be part of 3 tie-ins at the same time and unconscious in one of them?

Getting drunk, the most heroic thing I have done in my life.

If you cant understand that this is pure awesomeness, buy a mirror so you can see a person without a soul.

THEY DID IT! MARVEL FINALLY DID IT! A FLAWLESS CROSSOVER!!! I COULD DIE AS A HAPPY MAN NOW!!!

... Dear god, I need a girlfriend...

@shadowswordmaster: Thank you and I will. But I think I have to take a break to get new jokematerial, and I am still working on a A vs X comic. Its actually pretty damn hard to make only 5 panels about A vs X, and I thought it would be easy.

I also consider making a website, instead of posting them on Comicvine, but I am unsure if I am putting my hopes WAY to high, and if that would be disrespectful to the creator of the ci5p, Lewis Lovhaug.

@waezi2: advocating censorship? On an authorial site? Because you "feel uncomfortable"? Perhaps we should stay on topic here and you can pm me if you want (I can't start pm's on my phone and my computer's in the shop). But I can say that I find your condescendingly puritanical remark almost as offensive as the implications. Not like I actually said anything! Grow a sense of humor, already.

@docstrange: As I said, I'm not angry or anything, I just consider my sexual life a private matter that I dont want people I do not know to comment on the internet. Look, I am sure other people will find it funny, and it was not a insult to me, I know that. That is why I ask for your permission. You haven't done anything wrong. If you want it to stay, that is fine. I am sorry if I angered you.

@waezi2: Just take your time man.

@waezi2: not angry. But I can't initiate pm-ing at the moment. However... If you can't handle what people are likely to say on the Internet, are you sure you're in the right line of work?

Posted by waezi2

@docstrange: For the most part, yes. But that is a soft spot. And if other people are cool with it, that is fine. As I said, you haven't done anything wrong as far as I can see. It weren't meant as a pm-ing, and I am sorry if it appeared as on. And you are probably right about that I have to get used to it, especially if I want to make a website. By the why, do you think that making one is a bad idea?

I am sorry I brought it up and that you felt attacked.

@waezi2: why would creating your website be a bad idea? Better yet, what are you hoping to accomplish, how would it serve you? How much would it cost, in terms of time and money, and how much return do you expect?

Never read Fear Itself. Maybe I should...

Posted by waezi2

@docstrange: As far as I understand, I can do it for free, so it is a question about however it is a waste of my time to make one. I have a friend who says, that if I get so and so many to use my website, I could earn money on my CI5P, kind of like being a Youtube-partner. I do not understand the details at the moment, but my friend, next time I visit him, told me he would explain how it works. And, of coarse, sharing my CI5P with other people than the one on Comicvine, and hope that I could entertainer a few.

@awesam: You should. It is one of the few comics I cant point any fingers at and one of the greatest crossovers of all time(according to my humble opinion).

@waezi2: Good job.I kinda liked fear itself.

Yeah I've contemplated picking it up but people seem to be massively divided over it. Plus it's a little pricier than regular TPBs, so I'm a little reluctant to take the leap...

@veshark: It is kinda expensive. I had to loan it on the library. But it is a good comic, and my second favorite crossover, next to Underworld Unleashed.

But I do owe the Avengers Academy tie-in.

Whoa that seems like an uncalled-for overreaction. Censorship and condescendingly puritanical? Relax, friend...he just said he was uncomfortable with it, that's all.

Hmm, I might pick it up then. Art looks really nice though.

Isn't that your girlfriend sitting on your face in the last frame?

thank you for not deleting. i needed the laugh.

Does any of you have a favorite Fear Itself tie-in? My favorite is the one with Avengers Academy.

Posted by TheManInTheShoe

ha, that's the problem with tie-ins

Posted by cyberninja

Fear Itself is an abomination.

Posted by waezi2

@cyberninja: Well, okay. We cant all like the same things, but what makes FI an abomination? Sure, if you dont like it, fine, but dont you think that abomination is a little... extreme?

Posted by cyberninja

@waezi2: No, abomination is an understatement.

Wow I'm curious about this too, is it that bad? What's so abominable about it?

Posted by waezi2

@veshark: I wanna know to. I have reed it, and I thought it was pretty damn good. Not all the tie-ins were that great, but all in all a great crossover with an actual villain instead of hero vs. hero, and non of the heroes were portrait as idiots, assholes or hypocrites. In fact, this contain some of Iron Man, Cap and Thor's finest moments as heroes(according to my humble opinion).

Yeah, that's actually one of its appealing aspects to me - after all the hero v hero conflicts (Avengers Disassembled, House of M, Civil War, Secret Invasion, even AvX) it's nice having a classic crossover where all heroes just team up against an uber-powerful villain.

What happened to all the rune weapons anyway? Did they self-destroy or something?

Odin took them back. Why would he give man weapons that can hurt Asgardians lmao.

Posted by waezi2

@omgomgwtfwtf: Oh man! To bad...

Do you think he would give them back, if Tony got drunk again?

Posted by OmgOmgWtfWtf

@waezi2:

Honestly. i don't think we are ever going to see the equipment ever again. It's one of those things that appear in events and are never mentioned again.
