About the future of Comics In 5 Panels

Hey, my name is Josef Waezi, some of you may know me better as Waezi2. Some of you may (or may not) have noticed my blogs that i call "Comics In 5 Panels" were I try to cut a comic-book down to five panels in a (hopefully) funny way.

Here are some links to my work, if it is of any interest:

I have some questions that I hope you will answer, that I think will be important for the future of CI5P.

I have to take a little break for unknown time to get new joke material, and I am also working on a A vs. X in 5 panels, and it is surprisingly difficult to run down to only 5 panels, but I might also use some of that break to make a website, instead of just posting them on Comicvine. But I'm not sure if that is a good idea and if I'm putting my hopes WAAAY to high. What do you think? Do you like or dislike my CI5P?

I have also sent a email to the creator of the first CI5P, Lewis Lovhaug, better known as Linkara, if he approve of this, and if I am using his idea illegally. But I guess he is a busy man(not so weird, he have a review show with a episode for every week). Do you think that I am abusing his idea?

I thank you for taking some of your time for this, and I hope that you enjoy my CI5P. Please post a request if you have one.

Oh, by the way, there has been some comments about my language, so I promise that I will tone down on the swearing, with some exceptions, like "taste the rainbow, motherf@¤%&/=>".

And please watch Atop The Fourth Wall, and if you do, DON'T skip the ads! Its still free to watch and Linkara will get paid. Everyone win.

These are always funny.

@thespideyguy: It is nice of you to say so, but I am not proud of all of them. Those there are links to here? They are the CI5P I like myself. There are 3 more I haven't posted here. They were more like a experiments to figure out what kind of way I wanted to go with this thing.

But do you think I should make a website, or just stick to post them on Comicvine?

Thanks again for your kind words.

I think your CI5P are pretty entertaining. And besides Civil War (which I loved),I agree so far...but what I agree with is sorta irrelevant,so...I think you should.

@shadowswordmaster: Don't worry. If I make a website, I will still post them here on Comicvine. If I do the site-thing, it will be an attempt to get a bigger audience.

I like them. You're not really "abusing" his idea, you're just using it to share your views and jokes. People do it all the time. Who's to say he started it?

@awesam: Well technically he DID base the idea on the 5 second movies, so in a way he weren't the first. But he was the first to make it with panels from comics instead of movie-clips.

I say make a website

I'm gonna be honest: I wouldn't follow a website that is just based on breaking down comics into 5 pannel, so give a spin to that idea... BUT i hate the censorship on language that a lot of whinners in this site make, so I encourage you to keep that up and not tone it down, so, from that point of view, it would be a good idea to make your own website.

So... do whatever pleases you, dude!

Have faith in yourself and damn everyone else!

Succes!
