@zackg: did alien x do anything to contradict this? No... then why wouldn't I accept what the writer is saying directly too us. I don't need every answer visualized. Their word is good enough for me.

And honestly if the both creator up and decided that thor and herculean were equal then why would I argue that. ThEye dictate what happens to their characters. I don't.

They could decided that herc sucked on the magic fart of a space ogre and got an upgrade. Stupid? Yes but they are the ones wrating this make belive characters that are being published. I'd take that as one of then thousand buffs in comic history of many nerfs and power ups.

They aren't real so I'm not going to pretend theres "no logical way this could be happening" even if the people in charge say it is.

There is also the risk of the story plain old sucking though so the writers can do what ever they want, if it sucks it's their own fault

@xdragon2002: I see that you still don't get that author statements don't mean jack. Remember when people were trying to say that Saitama's author stated his punch is half the force of the Big Bang? Alien X isn't even a top tier reality warper, I can name at least 10 characters that would crush him like a bug.

Why wouldn't they? It's their character, they work however they want them too. You may not "like" the way something works but if the creator says something then that's how it is. you can't just say "no he doesn't because that sounds stupid to me"

spider-man can stick to walls "ehhhh the way he sticks to walls through his suit makes no real sense, so I don't accept that." well sorry but that's how it is.

That being said, that separates good writing and good characters from bad ones that come off as stacked fanfic characters that make no sense.

if the writer says he's that powerful that just how it is, he just didn't write a bunch of feats to back it up.

So you're saying there's a whole race of omnipotents? So a baby Celestialsapien is just as powerful as an adult one? Get outta here, he isn't omnipotent lmao.

he isn't saying that. The creators did. Once again it being stupid and sloppy isn't relevant because that's just how it is.

Are you really going to argue with the creator of a character about what his own characters stats are? what would allow you to believe this?

"brb im going to animate a short clip. I could just TELL you how it is because I invented him but it doesn't count until it's animated"

This is just a bait thread, and what do you know? People are falling for it...as usual.

At least someone can see the obvious bait and not take it. ^_^

the world would be a better place if they just ignored it or started talking about something off topic in the post lol.

What's worse is people probably know it's bait but they can't help themselves. The have a desire to say exactly why the post is incorrect

I don't think this constitutes as hate....people jump the gun with that word. A character they love has bad things happen to them, because that's what happens in the hero business, especially when you are willing to throw yourself out there to protect others and it translates to "hate"

bad things happen to him because he is the first one willing to take the bullet so his team doesn't have to. all his "dc hates him moments" directly involve him saving everyone else.

story telling is not hate.

i mean it could go the other way where he is faster than light and never gets a scratch on him I suppose

@arranvidreturns: If she overcomes that fear it wouldn't work. And I figure due to her heroing she learned the basic "over coming your fear" cliche that they all go through lol.

I think it is use to dealing with humans and other creatures like the maturin who don't actually fight him but just watch. He may have a "Wtf is this" moment when dealing with a kryptonian.

Can Shaw absorb something he doesn't know is coming/can't react to?

I was wondering that too. I think his power is always on

@reaverlation: @jashro44: That feat is preposterous for a number of reasons. Nate's de-powered and he's in an alternate reality where he never became Steel. It can also be seen as a lucky shot he lands because he knows Reverse-flash is trying to get his hands on the spear. That isn't representative of Nate's reflexes, it's just WIS.

wait , did he actually send thawne flying when he was depowered? wtf?

Also flash could barely react to thawne but thawne can't react to a regular depowered character?

People really need to stop accepting every feat they see, and question them

Cap. He's a super human from his feats lol. He would just chuck the bear off a cliff or click a truck at it or something.
