What were you playing with at 5 yrs old?

The other day my 4 1/2 yr old son asked me what I played with when I was a kid. This got me to thinking what had happened to those beloved toys. While a lot of my toys were destroyed in the process of being buried outside, left in the rain, encased in ice in my basement freezer, and launched on rockets, the majority of my toys were donated to less fortunate cousins as I grew out of them. From there I have no Idea what happened to them. I've picked up a few vintage Star Wars figures over the years, but in all honesty I didn't play with those as a kid. My Loves were He-man and Thundercats.
Easter Sunday I was discussing this with my brother and my mother overheard and told me that she still has some of my action figures, and that my son plays with them when he visits! She opened her closet and pulled out bins of what was most likely my nephews old toys. Disappointed I began to put them back away when I found these:
I wish Skeletor was there but oh well. It may only be two of what was once a vast collection, but I am thrilled to have this reminder of my youth to share with my son. He actually loves He-Man too now that we have it on DVD. He-man and Skeletor where the first two action figures I ever owned. I even remember getting them at a birthday party I had at an ice cream shop (I had a Popeye cake!) I think now I'm going to have to try to get my He-Man collection back!
