Decimation was Wanda's way of saying 'it's over.' I honestly believe there's a point a person can take crap from the world before snapping and taking full on revenge one way or another. Wanda snapped, she looked up and said eff you, and poof.
He's being used as a God nowadays, blasphemy if you ask me, but I'd say he's as strong as they get and as weak as you can imagine. He's no God, he's mortal, though I must say, his refusal to die and staty dead is quite entertaining to read about.
In all honesty, it's the body count on his head that attracts me to his character. Right now he may be a bit overused, but from twenty plus years ago, he was the perfect example of anti-hero. I enjoy violence, blood, and warfare, and Wolverine constitutes those qualities pretty well.
