I think to compare Raven to a creature as powerful as Phoenix is wrong. Don’t get me wrong, Raven is extremely powerful, but Phoenix is one of the strongest creatures in the Marvel Universe, Raven isn’t. Also, even if Raven WAS as powerful as the Phoenix, Jean herself has fought Phoenix in the past before they became one and won. I am sure that she can take on Raven. Seeing that Jean Grey is the most powerful telepath in the world, I don’t think that her mind would be at risk to Raven whatsoever and Raven harming her physically sounds pretty unrealistic.
there is a major difference within power levels when we talk about the Phoenix.. Jean Grey as "Green Phoenix" has considerably weaker feats compared to that of Dark Phoenix, much more WPOTC.. as Green Phoenix, Jean had power to control matter and has increased her psionic powers exponentionally but has limited control and is still has the weakness of the corporeal body as she is still a avatar serving the Phoenix Force.. regardless of that, she still possessed the power to bind the surging powers of the M'kraan Crystal which threatened to destroy the universe and beyond..
now, as Dark Phoenix she had grown considerable powerful probably due to the fact that she is no longer possessed the morals which keeps her powers in check.. in blind passion, she devoured a sun the destroy an entire star system killing 5 billions innocent lives..
the Galactic Council of the Shi'ar, Kree and Skrull all considers the threat of the Dark Phoenix greater than that of Galactus, as Galactus only devourers planets, while the Dark Phoenix threatens to destroy all that exist..
as Dark Phoenix, Jean said that she held the universe in the palm of her hands, that she was almost God..

as WPOTC, Jean possessed the power to control an entire universe at a sub-atomic level at the very least.. she plucked the reality of Earth-15104 from the omiverse and dissected it from the current 616 universe.. she then control the 616 universe atom by atom, turning back time by controlling the temporal axis within the universe, doing all this while manifesting the universe in the palm of her hands.. and yes, Galactus is somewhere in that universe she is holding..
she is even hinted to possess the power to create her own universe if she wanted too..
during the Secret Wars II, the omnipotent Beyonder wanted to use the power of the M'kraan Crystal to re-start the universe.. in doing so, she used the then avatar of the Phoenix, Rachel Summers.. the Beyonder gave Rachel the power destroy him which allowed Rachel to evolve and reach her fullest potential, which meant granting her the full power of the Phoenix Force.. when Rachel discovered the Beyonder's true motives, the Beyonder demanded that she return what he gave her.. with that, Rachel returned the Beyonder's powers as well the the power of the Phoenix, overloading even the omnipotent Beyonder with power..
plus the fact the the Phoenix is a proven multiversal entity.. existing only one Phoenix Force/WPOTC in reality.. Galactus is not..
The fact of the matter is that even in the Dark Phoenix Saga, the Empress herself predicted that the DARK Phoenix (one of the weakest forms of Phoenix) would become stronger than the crystal that created her, and if she would not be destroyed soon, everything that was would be no more; she would consume galaxies and eventually the Universe. That is why the Empress feared her so much. On the other hand, Galactus is feared because of his ability to destroy? Oh yes, Solar SYSTEMS. The fact that you are trying to keep the Phoenix’s past battles out of the thread shows that even you know that he would most likely lost this battle. I mean if there was a single battle in the past that he won against Phoenix, I highly doubt that you would be keeping it out of this thread, correct? Never the less, I will grant you that “wish” because I don’t really need past battles to win this, lol.
@ultimatewarrior123: Very good, but you seem to forget that everytime these two have fought in the past, for one reason or the other, Galactus always losing against Phoenix.
Also, Phoenix is more powerful than Galactus. Raw power alone and the Phoenix wins.
@xmenfallen:@White Angel Of Death: White Angel if Death, you seem to forget that the Phoenix has been around since the beginning of creation, that is why she is the guardian of it and because she is part of it. Phoenix also has millions upon millions of more years of experience than Charles Xavier. Also, Charles does not have UNLIMITED telepathic powers, Magneto himself was able to make a helmet that Charles could not break through, correct? Also, when Charles Xavier had that telepathic battle, it was between him and the DARK Phoenix. That is a huge key point you forgot to put in. The Dark Phoenix is one of the most weakest forms of the Phoenix and Charles was barely able to suppress it, he nearly lost, if it wasn't for the help of the OMEGA level mutant Jean Grey, Charles would have died and remember, his bind-ment didn't hold for very long. So, when it comes to your "opinion" Xmenfallen, even with the gem, I highly doubt that Charles Xavier would be able to survive the Phoenix let alone defeat her.
