I agree with the general sentiment of this thread. I don't even follow Thor that closely but he is certainly one of my favorite Marvel characters.

@thelastlife0726: Wow....does this include Batman TAS, JLU, JL, TNAS, Red Hood, etc as Batman Earth-0? Either way I'd prob have to say Earth-0. The whole premise is that Earth-16 is a world where superheroes are just coming to power/becoming known. In other words, they are young. Batman from all of those incarnations has been a lot of things but, if you take all of those shows as cannon experience, and then add comics, Earth0 has more experience

I haven't read the Percy books but, assuming Eragon could break into Percy's mind and find the spot, I'm betting he could reach it with the Elf speed, strength and agility. And even if he couldn't effect Percy directly...maybe he could do something to the water???

If anything, maybe Robin could remote hack War Machine's armor and turn that firepower on Wolvie (causing him to take time to heal). M'gann Mind blasts Spidey. Artemis holds off Iron Fist until Robin can blast him using War Machine's stuff. Flash keeps Thing occupied. Superboy and Aqualad both go to finish off Wolverine (getting him out is a priority). Supes and Kaldur then turn to dealing with the Thing

Wow.....I'd like to start by saying that I'm a HUGE YJ fan, HUGER (not a real word) Dick Grayson fan and more of a DC fan my whole life. And when I heard "New Avengers, my naivete(sp?) led me to think that it was a younger version of the Avengers...age-wise. Or at least younger Marvel heroes. But Wolverine? Iron Fist? Spiderman? I don't think this is a fair fight. I'd say Avengers. Now if we said the original Team aged as they are in Invasion (complete w Zatanna and Rocket), we'd have a fight on our hands

@KnightRise said:

How about absolute fan service? A complete backstory for the past 70 yers, answer all of the questions and tie all of the loose ends. I'd mention Zuko's mother but the comic tie-in is answering that apparently.

That would be amazing. Shoot, if they dedicated two good epsiodes to showing the original Team Avatar as grown ups kicking butt, I would be happy

Not sure if anyone posted this but what about 12-year old Robin kicking Hal Jordan's butt (depowered) and stealing his ring?

Idk.

1. I don't think everything is just going to be ok with Red Arrow now.

2. I hope he does become Arsenal....but I would want him to be a bad guy. Thye would have to explain him being 5 years younger than his peers at the time. uggh

I think the writers will surprise us pleasantly. They might have written this finale the way they did in case Korra flopped as a show (that way, it would still be relatively contained and not leave a whole slew of questions if it got cancelled).

I, too, hope Korra has to venture beyond Republic City as I would like to see what happened to the rest of that world post-Fire Nation domination.

As for the writers, as stated above, I trust their decision making. (hope I don't eat those words next season:)
