Thor vs. Thor fight ruled. Art was awesome, and I'm glad the new Thor got to look good without The Odinson jobbing out.

I want Slott off. I can't imagine how someone could manage to make "A team up of every Spider-man ever!" into such a dull joyless affair, but he managed it.

You guys DO realize DeFalco subtly retconned this Mayday as being an alternate universe double right?

Really? I didn't notice!

Can you say where/how exactly he did it?

It's very subtle. She refers to her brother as Benny instead of Benjy, which she always does in the actual Spider-Girl comics. She also calls herself "The Spider-Girl" in the opening narration instead of "The Daughter of Spider-man," which is what she always calls herself in the opening of Spider-Girl issues. Then the closing narration implies that the Mayday we "know" is still safe in her universe with her family.

@kivatt: Yes. You could replace all of her word balloons with: "I am terrible" and nothing would be changed.

Yep. And it's hilarious and well deserved as Slott has done a completely terrible job with her character. I'm honestly considering buying this book twice for that.

Spider-man should take this.

Scarlet Spiders #3 had a pretty decent brawl with Ben, Kaine, and Jess fighting against a continually respawning Jennix.

Really enjoyed this issue. I guess the art isn't for everyone, but I really like it. It was just a really fun issue all in all.

Well, I can tell what wasn't a good battle. Leopardon vs. Solus. So disappointing.

@deadcool_xd: He gets shot at all the time, guns have zero effect on him at all

in actuality the actual sound should harm him as do the bells in the spiderman movie. Him beng shot and hearing the sound is just the lack of attention and research given by the writers. O and by the way deadpool has sonic weapons.

I don't think Venom's ever been beaten by bells in the comics (AKA applicable here unlike the movies). I think in you're next statement your claiming that him being fine around guns is WIS? No, it's not, as it's happened consistently. Sonics are different from gunshots, and the sonics Wade has have to be awfully powerful considering Venom could take sonic blasts from Iron Man and not flinch.

unlike movies you say, well I actually own his first appearance spiderman #300 and that is where the movie is from. venom gets weakened by the sound of the bells. And to prove I'm not bluffing-

If you really knew your characters, you'd know that Venom was not defeated by a ringing bell in that issue.

What's more, David Michelinie, co-creator of Venom, has penned several issues in which Venom was capable of tanking shots from Sonic Guns designed by Reed Richards, so clearly, Venom's sonic resistance gets better over time.

Maybe you should base your opinions on characters on more than just one 30 year old issue.
