Marvel Zombies (Vol. 2)

Chapter 0:

Page 1:

An orbital view of Earth. A cosmic force field glitters across the globe. An object spirals into the earths orbit. The shadows of cosmic beings lord over the earth.

Page 2:

A young adult semitic man, with scars on his hands, and an old sickly robed black woman walk the dunes of Sahara Desert. The object crashes off in the distance.

Page 3:

A large ominous dust cloud appears from behind the two people. The two notice and start to run. The woman tumble down the dune.

“Mother!” the Man screams

Page 4:

The man slides down the dune to his mother. As the cloud gets closer a Zombie Quicksilver appears from said cloud. Wearing a harness with wires leading into the cloud, he crawls his way through the sand with a massive force that creates the cloud, ever approaching the two

Page 5:

The dust cloud passes over the two. As the dust settles Hulks foot steps down from the a floating platform.

Page 6:

As the sun burns the eye of the two people, a zombie Hulk stands beside a floating ship platform and Zombie Quicksilver, who has been cut in half at the belly. Quicksilver has been attached to the ship platform with a harness and wires. Hulk is wearing the torn hide of Hank Mccoy, the shattered and hollowed out skull of the Red Skull and his purple pants which have torn into a loin cloth.

Page 7:

Hulk smiles evilly as the two people cower. With a mighty roar the Hulk rages towards the two. With a blink a naked bald white man with his hand raised towards the hulk, appears in front of the two people.

Page 8:

The charging Hulk is starts to disintegrate, like an old 16 bit video game, in little squares. The little squares float off the Hulk and fade into the air. Both Hulk and Quicksilver quickly fade into the blinding desert sun.

Page 9:

With an air of dead silence, the two stare, with both shock and fear, from the naked man.

“Galan” the woman yells with joy as she runs towards the naked man

They embrace and kiss each other passionately

Page 10:

“Gaia. My love you are as beautiful as ever.” Swoons Galan while staring deep into Gaia’s eyes.

“Oh, you say that to all the massive orbital bodies. Look at me I must be what...five billion years old now? Look how my continents drift” Gaia humbles herself

“My sweet, you are my only heavenly body. No one loves you more than I. I wish I could speak about your children in the same manner.”

“I am taking that you are speaking of me” Speaks the Semitic man

“My love, please, I know you have your concerns of him, but I would of never made it this far without him. But what are you doing here? You’ve broken protocol. If they get to you everything is lost.”

Page 11:

Galan turns toward the floating platform.

“Yes, I did put the operation at risk. There…is a complication. As you just experienced this is more frightening of a threat than we hypothesized. Its not just you who is rotting, but the universe itself. But all is not lost. Our insider was able to protect, our greatest threat, the scientist supreme.” States Galan as he starts working on the insides of the floating platform

“Galan…” the semitic man voices concern

“As well, there are many still fighting the horror, including my Master and his sibling...“

“You damn fool!!!” the semitic man interrupts

“Mephesto!...I understand that you have a cross to bear, but, as well, your presence is forbidden” States an annoyed Galan, who is getting shocked by the wires, “

Mephesto taken back, barks furiously, “At least in this form, if infected, I shall rise again. But you...you will die and the universe with you”

“And if you keep your preaching quiet for a moment, I can get this primitive scrap metal working. The horror has dropped an...unexpected variable upon us, but thanks to those...anchors...a wild card has appeared in our favor.” Galan smiles with adventure

Page 12:

Cut to Galan, Gaia and Mephesto driving the platform over the sandy desert.

“What now?” Gaia coughs

“Now we head towards the storm, towards the horror.”

Page 13:

Three weeks earlier, it is a brisk New England fall afternoon. A chubby tween white girl with short dirty blond hair and glittering brown eyes, stands alone on a patch of grass that serves a fork of a windy hilly road. She waits next to a rotten stump and a metallic green street sign that says Old Camp RD.

Page 14:

Off in the distance a red Subaru Forester whips down the New England road. As it gets closer to the girl the car speeds up. The girl, now just realizing the drivers intent, starts to run, but slips on the wet leaves.

Page 15:

The car hits the patch of grass with a might screech of its breaks, until the cars bumper just passes over the girls feet.

Page 16:

The girl gathers the strength to stand back up. Climbing the car she finds a strong chined muscular brunette staring at her with savage brown eyes and an joyful evil smile. Besides him is another teenaged boy laugh.

Page 17:

As the car speeds away. The girl, with head held low, slowly walks in the same direction.

Page 18:

Cut to the girl approaching a light large gray colonial at the edge of twilight. The house and its large front yard are separated by a rough “U” driveway. At the center of the yard is a giant oak tree that, in the spring and summer, would bath the house in cooling shade. Separating the yard from the street stands an old colonial stone wall that works itself around a protruding boulder.

Page 19:

The girl enters through the mudroom door.

“Where have you been, Barbra” roars a concerned voice from the kitchen

The girl enters into the kitchen where a plump fifty year old woman sits at a kitchen table, with her face in a laid out newspaper and a half drunk glass of wine. The old woman wears an oxygen tube that runs off into the next hallway, where a loud and clunky oxygen machine can beating. Behind the woman one can glimpse the ever expansive property through a glassdoor. First comes the granite patio with patio furniture that looks like it was bought back in better days. From the patio a large brick staircase leads to the concrete slabbed pool area. The pool has been covered up with, as with the patio furniture, a pool cover that was bought back in better days. Beside the pool stands a small pool house that matches the colonial. A wall separates the pool area from a large grassy yard, spectacled with trees, that fades into a rocky thick woods.

“Johnny told me that you didn't show up at the bus stop today.” the old woman wonders

Page 20:

“Ya, well, Johnny tried to run me over again” States the girl matter of factly as she slumps down on at the raised brick fire place, “I guess that’s where I’ve been mom.”

Barbara's mother puts down her newspaper and stares with a mother’s intensity at Barbra, “I’m sorry honey. I dont know why he has so much anger in him. He reminds me of my brother and the horrible things he use to do to me. If it wasn't for this damn lung diseases I could have been a better mother to you two.”

“Oh mom, I love you. And its not your fault. You’ve been a great mom and I will always be there for you.” Barbara gets up to give her mother a strong, but loving hug.

“I’m so lucky to have such a loving child as you. I just wish we knew where that anger came from. Propally from those gays with their agenda to confuse all our boys. Or those damn mutie freaks acting all wild and running loses all over the place. They're all animals and someone should put them in their place”

Barb, still embracing her mother and with a head hung low with disappointment in her mother's last words, mutter, “...Yeah mom…”

Page 21:

Cut to a pitch black bed room where only the red light of a digital clock can be read at 1am. A thumping sound starts and grows louder. With a click of a switch a sliver of light breaks the pitch darkness.

Page 22:

After a loud knock at the door, an opening door illuminates Barbra from the pitch darkness, only to find a drunken Johnny on the otherside.

Page 23:

“Give me your pillows” Johnny demands

“What?” A groggy Barbara brups

“Your fucking pillows, give them to me”

“Fuck you!”

“You fucking took my pillows”

“I didn't take anything...I dont even make my own bed?’

“Whats going on out her” Roars Barbara's mother as she pokes out from her room from down the hall.

“Johnny’s drunk and trying to steal my pillows” Barbara

“Johnny!?” shouts the mom in disappointment

“Shut up you stupid bitch, go back to bed!!!” Roars Johnny

Page 24:

“Listen…” Speaks Barbara as she nervously cracks her knuckles

“What you want to fight now?”

“No...I just..” Barbra bumbles

“You just cracked your knuckles. That means you wanta fight. Oh, now you're scared, you little pussy.”

“Barbra, just give him the pillows” the mother pleads

Shocked by her mother's words, Barbra’s pupils draw to a pinpoint, as she roars back to Johnny, “NO! FUCK NO! I’m not putting up with this drunk ass fucker anymore. He always does this to me. No one does anything. And I'm the bad guy. Not tonight. When I fucking sleeping. At...1 am. Not any other night. No...no you can just go fuck yourself.”

As the two star each other down the mother can be seen in the background crying to both of them.

Page 25:

Barbra, out match, wins a stare down with her hulking brother wins when Johnny’s drunkenness overcomes his wild eyes.

“Fuck this” Johnny guffs as he slams Barbra’s door on Barbra’s foot

Even as the door jiggles back open Barbra stands firm. Eyes still wild, she watches from her doorway, as Johnny slumps down the stairs. After a door slams, a car can be heard roaring off in the distance.

Page 26:

Cut to a pitch black bed room where only the red light of a digital clock can be read at 3am. A thumping sound starts and grows louder. With a click of a switch a sliver of light breaks the pitch darkness.

Page 27:

Before a slow knock can finish the door swings open to illuminate Barbra ready to confront her brother.

“Not this time…” Barbara shouts as she points at her brother.

Page 28:

Chapter 2

Page 1:

The red digital clock beams 4:17. A door slowly opens to reveals a healed Barbara.

Page 2:

“Mom!!! I...I think something happened. I...oh god what's that…” Barbra speaks off panel from a view of an empty doorway.

As Barb comes into view on the other side of the door she shrieked with terror, “Sme...oh bloody fucking hell.”

Page 3:

A splash page of Barb witnesses her zombie brother chewing on a torn of limb of her now zombified mother.

Page 4-5:

Barb frozen with terror as her zombie family crawls towards her. With a might boom the house is torn with a mighty crash. Brab is thrown onto the back yard where she finds zombie hulk battling a Hulk Buster Iron Man.

Page 6:

With a mighty roar Hulk tears Iron Man in half

Page 7:

Suddenly War Machine and Rescue land next to Barb.

“Take the girl, I got him.” Speaks War Machine

Rescue garbs Barb and flies off

Page 8-9:

Rescue rises high up into the atmosphere where the coming sunrise illuminates the burning hell of southern Connecticut and the apocalypse that is New York City.

With sudden furrier a zombie Thor, with a dented baseball bat, slams Rescue out of the sky.

Page 10:

Rescue tumbling out of control holds Barb tight as Rescue manages to lands safely in an abandoned construction site seemly hidden from the on going apocalypse.

Page 11:

“We’re good. You good. Ok, safe” Speaks a surprised Rescue combing the area for danger

Suddenly Rescue is pierced and split into two by a zombie Reed Richards.

Barb backs up only to back into a zombie Sue Richards gazing at her with a ravenous hunger. Then with a boom the zombie Sue’s head explodes.

Page 12:

“Run...these monsters are ours.” Smiles Franklin Richards who stands with his sister Valeria, both holding BFGs

“Franklin, Valeria what have you done to your mother!?” Roars the zombie Richards in a hungry rage

“She wasn’t our mother. Our mother would never let herself smell worse than the Hulk." States Valeria as she and her brother fire at their zombified father.

In the background Barb can be seen fleeing into the undead madness.

Page 13:

As Barb runs down the zombie filled streets of NYC she witnesses her world crumbling into a cannibalistic horror.

Page 14:

With an ear deafening roar a commercial airplane crashes several blocks down. Out of the crash raises a giant dust cloud that threatens to consume Barb. Before the cloud can hit Barb spots a near by subway.

Page 15:

As Barb sinks lower into the abandoned subway station she stumbles upon the Avengers(Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Wasp, Loki, Havok, Sunspot, Namor, Falcon, Daredevil, Wonder Man, Storm, Black Panther, Luke Cage, Radioactive Man, and Songbird) and a group of Super Villains (Red Skull, Sand Man, Wrecking Crew, Owl, Wizard, Madame Masque, Razor Fist, Constitor, Santana, Cross Bones, Boomerang, The Hood, Zemo, Sabertooth, Norman Osborn, and Black Talon) making a pact to work together for the greater good.

Page 16-17:

The zombified Hulk smashes his way through the subway roof, crushing everyone except Barb and the Red Skull

Page 18: “Get swinehunder. This is a battle between ubermacht.” Smiles the Red Skull as he throws Barb onto the tracks. Without looking back to see the Red Skull’s narcissistic sacrifice, Barb dashes into the dark tunnels.

Page 19-20:

Only guided by the emergence lights of the subway tracks, Barb’s flee of terror never seems to end no matter how deep in the tunnels she runs. As she takes a short breath, several Moloid arms appear and drag Barb kicking and screaming into the darkness.

Page 21:

Cut to three weeks later:

Barb, shrouded in rags, is ten miles out from her destination, the last safe hold, Mall of America. As a vehicle approaches Barb hides the healed bite marks that cover her limbs.

Chapter 3

Page 1:

Three weeks after the zombie apocalypse has befallen Earth-616. A group of super heroes, refugees and survivalist have secured safe ground at Mall of America. The mall is surrounded by three makeshift barricade made out of large vehicles, wire fencing and scrap metal. A rag tag militia patrol the area, that include Frank Castle, Warbird, Hope, Marc Spector, Valkyrie, and Flash Thompson(venom). An armored van unloads a group of survivors the group has found.

From the van, out steps a nervous Barb hiding her secret behind a ragged cloak. Along with the militia Kaine Parker, James Proudstar, Thundra and John Walker inspect the new refugees.

Barb grips her cloak as she witnesses that each new refugee must strip to make sure no one has been bitten.

Page 2:

Barbs nerves grow even more shakened as she sees Walker looming even closer, looking in her direction. With eyes shut tight, she cowers in fear as the muscular super soldier approaches. Not until he passes her does she truly know his true intent.

Walker grabs the man behind her and reveals a bite mark on the man forearm.

“We got an infected” Walker informs matter-of-factly

As the crowd of new refugees riot into a mini panic, Parker calmly walks over to the now subdued bitten man, who continues to kick and scream. With no emotion at all, Parker pops his left forearm stingers and slams it into the man’s head. Before popping the stinger in he wipes the blood and brains from his stinger.

Page 3:

Barb watches hidden from afar as the militia heavy handedly rangels the rioting refugees back into order.

“What in gods name is going on out here?” Preaches the Aquarian as he comes from the Mall to meet face to face with Walker, “I gave you the job of offering the new refugees a home. And all you show them a future of fear and subjugation..”
