@sinful: I feel the same way. Feels like the realization hit the writer that people don't like this kinda stuff and this is his attempt to try and fix it. First impressions are a big deal and that just soured it for me.
I really dislike how Kory has been portrayed in Red Hood and the Outlaws. Now I don't want to read that series anymore, even though I was one of the few reboot titles I was looking forward to.
I feel the same, I was really excited about this one and it sounded like it would be a fun title but I found that just a bit too disappointing for me to continue.
I prefer the old Deadpool run, I have most of them and enjoyed it greatly. He just seems different now, I picked up a few of the new ones and it just seems a bit more... I don't know... It is like super silly Deadpool, I mean yes he was always silly but there was also a bit of crazy that backed it up and made it a bit more enjoyable read. I just can't seem to get behind the new run.
@War Killer: I am just saying as a new reader it kind of kills the surprise for me. I have not gone out and looked at pictures to find out what happens next. Although I have wiki'd a few things to help with filling in the blanks.
Does anyone else thing the cover of this book gives away a bit of a surprise of what happens in the book? I kinda feel it would have been better if it didn't have the lower panel on the cover and put something else there. That is just my 2 cents as a newcomer to comic books.
