The blessing; the ability to do something that can bring change, the curse is that because of this new found ability a righteous person will always be slave to doing 'what's right' and not what they feel.

if there was a massive Armageddon amongst all universes and the universe was split into people who wanted everything to end and those who didn't what would happen? Who would be in it and what would they fight for?
I think that their minds are too different to compare, while both problem solvers, Batman is ridiculously smart in the sense that he is a detective can knows how to solve things based on how people react, where as Peter is all science and math. Not saying that they don't have some middle ground where their intellects overlay, but to me its comparing apples & oranges, like saying who's smarter, Sigmund Freud (Psychologist) or Albert Einstein (Physicist) its like apples and oranges.
I agree, though I'd say parker relies more on his knowledge in battle rather than stealth/skill/brute strength.
