Good Times's....... 2

For 600 issues, I am still a fan... This issue was equivalent to what an Anniversary  issue should due and/or be. New star crossed lover's May and JJ's dad, are really getting married. The wedding is the climax of the issue, but getting there was interesting. Doc Ock  is dying so he, of course, takes over the city! While his brain is wired into the cities computers , his subconscious tries to stop the wedding and kill Spiderman. Ock unaware of   this- thinks he is leaving the world with the gr...

Were back....(spoiler) 0

Finally -we get back to the genuine feel this comic has . Great story, and new changes, Dr Strange is no longer Sorcerer Supreme, a new person has been chosen by the Eye of Agamotto, But Dr. Strange thinks someone is after the eye and may kill the new owner of the eye before they get their paws on it. This is why I love this team: -"Bucky Cap" is guns, guns, and more guns- he's got like two assault rifles at one time/w sniper scope on one- show 'in off  fighting smarter, like Cap -Ms. Marvel ...

Spoiler........Illuminati's back???? 0

So eventhought Yu has moved on, I continue to tune in monthly for the best Marvel series of the year.....and this issue has not let me down. So the infamous Illuminati is back, ...well sort of.......In this issue , like the past few, we have  followed more than just the New Avengers and along the journey we are uncovering the events that lead to the INVASION. Until now we havent gotten any real info, except the mystery of what happened to Electra. --But we see that the skulls arn't as smart as w...

Prof. X is dead.......again. 0

So was all this a plot by the writers to kill off professor X..I don’t know. As a matter of fact I don't really know anything anymore. Or what all was this was about, let alone what the messiah complex means. I think I read every issue... Well If I miss something please correct me...So Predator X is ripped apart by Logan. I was waiting for that, I got tired of seeing it. Mr. Sinister id dead. Rouge is cured?? Mystique really loves Rouge and wants to be a mother now...Gambit is really not all bad...

I miss Yu, but the series goes on strong.... 0

First of all I miss the fantastic art of Yu...but you gatta move on. This story only gets better and on top of it, these guys are in the middle of the whole INVASION story coming up, so having followed every issue of New Avengers I feel right in there. So, Dr strange has limitations...who knew. He until this iss. showed no injury from WWH, and what seemed to be the gangster of the mystic arts, finally remembers his reason for being a master. Love it... Then Cages wife goes to Starks tower...I un...

What???Brand new is right...... 0

So I can’t wait to read this issue, and now I’ve read it I can’t wait to file it under "A" and leave it so acids from the pages can bond it together forever. Brand new is right. Parker has web shooters again which are stolen because he gets mugged; HUH.... this is not all. Peter is being hit on by a chick who wants to get close to Harry Osborne, since when did Peter get chicks because he was friends with Harry (Ill have to read some back issues to confirm that, but I’m ranting on at this point)....

Where are we now??? 0

I am in Limbo with this one… Spiderman, no, no, Peter Parker is the most selfish hero this year. Ya See, Spider man with the whole “with great power comes great responsibility” thing (which I’m getting tired of hearing by the way) would have never made a deal with a villain. Let alone for the price of his love with Mary Jane, the woman he has been chasing for over 20 years (in our world at least). I mean Evil, pure evil literally, says you have something that “He (GOD by the way for all you heat...

Miller gets it right... 0

First of all, Im like a addict for these issues, they only get better. So Im Byas...But this issues art was (dare I say) even better; and the Neal cover is what a variant cover should be. I ordered it in advance... Miller takes Batman where he belongs--his inner thoughts, wise cracks, bitter crime fighter, and true detective. Lee masters the artwork for this one. Plus the Joker has the coolest tattoo. The only thing I did not like was the appearance of the nazi symbol on the chick. The Grayson ...

four stars but not five... 0

After a incredible start with Hulk as a Marvel Sparticus, and falling in love, then having a vengence for revenge-We get to this last issue of the best concept of last year and it ends with Bruce Banner's back. The Sentry, which really gets on my nerves with the whole loser complex, but being the strongest hero in Marvel UNI., finally gets a chance to let go and pound some one with his 10 million suns punch and dosent start sucking his thumb and asking for his mommy. I loved it, but where did th...

The best one Yet.....and I will tell you why>> 0

First of all, the writing was excellent-the story told by cage (the only one who did not turn Symbiote) and his girl in bed->NOTE: If you haven't been in bed with your girl at night as you go thru your day or tell some off the wall story than you are not going to get it. This is a very intimate time, the day is over and you bond with your better half, relaxed and safe, but in Cages case they are not safe their is a invasion happenning. The contrast is great. So he tells this story and she is ...

For All Star Superman -this issue was OK... 1

I have waited for this issue for seams like forever, but finally I got it. Frankly this issue was a good filler, but it did not "WOW" me like the first eight issues. I found the issue drawn out, this story could have given us more, but didn't. However, the charm was a hit, Superman delivers his cool, calm and collected side as always. The new supermen put him down, go thru his things, talk about his father, bust up his work, change earth-really they take over. Once again this series shows that a g...

Great story...ending even better!!!! 0

First of all the cover was enough to get this book, come on 3 Stark armor spidermen..cool! This story gives you a insite into the world of the hero for hire, newbee on the street hero from the new initiative. But the story gets its meat from Spiderman intercepting the three initiative employees while the chase three flying birdmen (I won't say who)--Peter is thinking about where his next move is and bamm! He blows off some steam catching both parties off guard. The coolest thing is how the Spide...

This series only gets better.... 0

Well we have a for now -One Captain America who only can see the child in Bucky and is tring to save him every minute, but Bucky is a double agent, as well as, Wolverine. Also a fresh Nick Fury, which is a nice touch. So Cap is chasing Bucky and Wolverine is chasing Cap. Both Logan and Bucky see thru each other and can't wait to get each other alone for sone one on one brawl'in. Of course they think they kill the bad guy only to find out that the guy they kill is a body double, which makes Fury ...

Great tie in for Uncanny XMEN#268 0

Only read this comic if U have Uncanny XMEN#268 open and ready-this book ties in with the story in issue#268 perfect-now their some flaws but if we were looking for reality comics are not where U start--This issue of Wolverine Origins expands the past of Wolverine by exploring the secret mission he has in WW2 as a mercenary- Bad guy?? Why not! He retells the story while visiting the memorial for CAP America. Clearly drinking in a Museum or something no one notices and he shows his ulterior motiv...

Caught me by surprize!! 0

Gerard Way (MCR) hit it off with this comic-I did not know what to expect but I read a article in Wizard mag and found it worth checking out. The story leads into the series with some back round that leave a heap of questions. The characters are really not likeable but grow on U. Clearly there is a sibling rivalry and it will be a focal point in the series. U get a insight on what their powers and how they were trained. Their (prof. X)/father figure-the Monocle- is a complete opposite (prof. X) ...

A++++ 0

Once again this series hits a homer (for me at least) I cant wait for more-The gritty batman is what I love, the S+M attraction between BC and Bat's is reminisant of Sin city- The story dosent give U much-the series is extreamly drawn out, but this combination of LEE and Miller is a blessing. Batman clearly master of his domain gives the criminal element a thrashing, not saving but only turing on Black Canary-just as young Dick Grayson discovers his "night wings" down in the batcave-then faced w...

Way to give this series its first BS issue 0

This issue though very informative did take a "C" class villain (the hood) and make a whole issue out of B,C,D, and F for failure- evil/loser villains-- who come together to make a new crime organization out of lack of proper hero "initiative" no pun intended-The issue wastes too much time on movie drama --threaten the hero with killing their family "bit"-totally exposing the lack of "super" hero crime fighting-where was Tony’s team of crime fighters-no where in issue-clearly this was the writer...

New information on Logan-OOPS! (SPOILER ALRT) 0

This issue is great-Of course he is not dead really, but this issue ends with new information on how Wolvie comes back from the dead-He apparently never stops fighting-until now--when Doc Strange tries to make him realize that he's in purgatory and needs to (revieled in next issue) do something to regain his body. I thought this was a great way to keep the series going and reviel a little insight on Logan. Also most of the issue gives U a little of Wolverines history-he apparently fought in a wa...
