The Human Torch has always been one of my favourite characters. Very sad to see him die.
Will Johnny Storm stay dead? I've got a feeling he will. In the Marvel universe he's not been the only Torch (remember the android?). Maybe Marvel will take a leaf out of the DC comics way of doing things and we'll have a new Torch....
Why have they picked these characters!!?? I'm afraid this looks very weak. Michael Fassbender is always great but although I normally like James McAvoy he looks far too young. And who'd have thought the cute young lad in 'About a Boy' would end up playing the Beast!!
@jamdown: This looks a really good comic and is certainly a team with attitude. Can I make what will probably be an unpopular observation...... this isn't a very powerful team. Althought they've got the "we're happy to kill mentality" are these characters really powerful enought to beat Apocalypto? Maybe with Polaris and Havok but I didn't think they were in the team.
@Rick475069: Any carbon copy character. I mean U.S. Agent, All the venom rip offs, Red Hulk, every colour under the sun latern corps... You get the idea. The only improvement on the original is war machine
I know the New Guardians was quite a badly written comic but did anyone else think the character RAM was really cool? I always thought he was terminator tough but with black lightening powers blasts and a technopath too. I get fed up of charatcters just being men in a suit of electronic armour but RAM was different as he was a living electronic being.
