@auntneppy: Excellent point, I totally forgot about Arthur, though I do like that he and Mera have (had?) a functioning, loving relationship and still managed to kick ass and take names seperately and together. But the very idea of Arthur and Diana is intriguing, especially from the Greek myth angle. How would Athena and Poseidon react to their two champions getting together? Especially since they loathe each other? That's years of story, that has centuries of myth to pull from.
If anyone gets together with Diana it should be Bruce. He's the only one that could handle her, at least when she's well written, and she's the only one who, other then Selena, he would truly see as an equal. Leave annoying and boring Clark to himself, or equally annoying and boring Lois. The only time I've ever found Clark interesting in a pairing is with Lex and since DC will never have the guts to explore THAT particular relationship and all it's love/hate then let SuperDick and the world's most useless reporter be together.
It's a shame we can't scrap everything but Palicki and start over, as she's perfectly cast as Diana but David E. Kelley being involved makes all of this fail.
An interesting post, and one that points out something I am frankly very surprised doesn't happen more often. Jennifer Walters is a badass who flaunts her identity in the public eye, she gets constantly photographed and loves it, yet her cousin Bruce doesn't get the same scrutiny and you'd think he would.
