The Companions

The Companions are the Queen's closest inner circle of individuals that hail from Laminas Mundi, they have been with her through the hardest times and are one of her most loyal and essential allies that have either fought with her in many battles or provided aid in other ways.

Lancer

Lancer is the pseudonym that Lainus Stryker chose from himself upon becoming a member of the companions, he joined the Mewni Military at the age of sixteen during the Golden Age of Solus and participated in many peace keeping missions across the seas of Laminas Mundi.

His career truly took off when he single handedly defeated a maniple of Necromancer's Shadow warriors that were being reinforced by a undead dragon, he displayed almost mythical skill with the use of lances and his own incredible agility combined with eye blurring speed.

Equipment

  • Emerald Scout Tunic

An enchanted set of scout class Mewni leather armor, its enchantments provide three qualities. The first quality is the nullification of sound which magically silences any physical actions that Lainus performs (Such as footsteps or movements of a weapon scraping/hitting something) with the only exception being speech.

The second quality is a light yet invisible physical ward meant for deflecting physical attacks away from Lainus, it is capable of deflecting up to a dozen strikes (From those with Class 6 strength) before the ward requires a duration of time to recuperate and continue deflecting strikes.

The final quality is a feather enchantment, as long as Lainus wears this enchanted Tunic the Lancer's body will be literally as light as a feather which aids him in his improbable acts of agility.

  • Gunther

Gunther is one of three weapons that Lainus has in his possession, Gunther is a red colored lance made from crystallized dragon blood that was later on enchanted by Caster to improve its combat potential.

Gunther was rewarded to Lainus by Arturia Loveheart after his victory against an overwhelming Necromancer's Shadow strike force, unlike some dragons those of Laminas Mundi possess unique qualities and Gunther possess some of a Dragon's power from with in. One quality is that Gunther's shape and size in naturally manipulative by its owner, this can allow Lainus to change the six foot lance into a foot long knife in a instant and vice versa however while it has seemingly no shape it can't replicate, it still can not exceed its maximum size/radius of 100 sq feet.

Gunther also possess the unique capability to restore a portion of the wielders physical injuries by absorbing life force from an opponent with each successful strike (That are not blocked or deflected that is), this ability comes from the nature of a Dragon's blood lust and there for as long as Lainus is capable of laying down strikes he will be able to simultaneously weaken his opponent and keep himself in the field for longer duration's.

A final quality but one that Caster implemented on Gunther is the nullification of regenerative properties, those struck by Gunther would suffered a incredibly powerful cursed wound which prevents all forms of healing (Whether they be Meta,Magical or Technological) the only known ways to remove the curse are

A) The healer in question being more powerful than the enchantment placed (Typically powerful reality warper)

B) Destroying Gunther (Quite difficult to do since Gunther is capable of repairing itself but temporary destruction is sufficient)

C) Requesting the wielder of Gunther to remove the curse (Only the owner can remove it if the other two options are unavailable)

  • Bulg

Bulg is a second lance weapon that Lainus dual wields with Gunther, Bulg is a lance made out of solid Uru and is a family heirloom that he's wielded since the beginning of his service in the Mewni Military.

Being made out of Uru gives Bulg to simple but invaluable properties, first is nigh indestructibility which allows Lainus the potential to compete with most opponents of greater durability and strength (Even those with Class 7 stats) and the second but just as equally as important is the ability to absorb almost any form of energy regardless of the quantity and either project it outwards at twice the strength or store it for later use.

  • Razar

Razar is a simple Dwarven made dagger that occasionally sits on the sheathe of Lancer's heel, the only special property of its sword other than being a very sharp/durable dagger is that its form and sheathe are cloaked by a powerful invisibility enchantment that makes it invisible to anyone except Lainus.

MS Abilities

Lainus possesses three MS abilities,

  • Reflect

At the cost of all his mobility and constant feeding of his Martial Spirit, Lainus is capable of consistently/constantly reflecting any physical attack back towards his opponent.

Typically Lainus uses MS Reflect only on opponents with vastly greater strength and due to its nature is mostly a defensive technique, despite its amazing ability to reflect seemingly any physical strike it is very limited in usage due to the massive upkeep required to keep it active and thus its only used on desperate measures or if its capable of ending a fight in one fell swoop.

  • Multistrike

By manipulating space and time the Lancer Lainus is capable of striking a thousand blows with one action, a key signature move and easily manageable for his MS pool is Multistrike.

Naturally Lainus is one of the physically least imposing members of the Companions but he makes up for his weaker physical striking capabilities in exchange for his rapid fighting style, with MS Multistrike the Lancer is capable of fighting against those that would normally be beyond his capabilities for four rapid strikes with Multistrike would be the equivalent of him striking four thousand times with the same exertion as if he only struck one.

  • Paralyze

Simple but beloved MS ability that is uncommon for Mewni soldiers, the ability to paralyze a foe upon touch. MS Paralyze ignores the targets strength and durability and resistant is quantified based on will power and determination.

If the opponent's will is strong enough they can break out of the physical incapacitation but if it is not then all their strength and durability are made irrelevant.

Physicals

  • Strength

100 ton lifting and striking strength but this is his maximum limit

  • Speed

Massively Hypersonic, three or four times faster than lightning in both combat and movement speed. Capable of keeping up with said speed consistently and with out strain.

  • Durability

Blunt trauma durability is excellent, capable of withstanding physical blows that can level large hills at little to no injury but piercing resistant is almost non existent and becomes a very exploitable weakness for those excelling at edged melee weapons

Miscellaneous

Lainus Stryker is 180 years old, stands at a height of 6'0 and weighs 250 pounds (Relatively light for a Mewni Male). He maintains one of the coolest and most passive mental states out of all the Companions (Being rivaled only by Amanda,Star,Caster,Assassin)

Lainus Stryker is not quick to trust others and is always skeptical of betrayal due to the cautions his parents drilled into him at a young age, being sent over seas in Mewni operations has trained his natural senses to always be on guard when across strangers. He has good relationships with everyone in the Companions with the exception of Rider whom he believes to be quite childish despite his royal origin.

Caster

Caster is a Mewnian whom transported his soul into a mechanized construct of his own design in an attempt to expand Mewnian lifespan towards immortality and then use this method as a way to cure the cursed blood line of Mewni royalty.

Unfortunately there was a set back and he remained incapacitated for 25,000 years before awakening during the Mewni Darkages, however he stilled remained with the skills and knowledge of a Master Mage and through countless battles eventually became known as one of the greatest and oldest Mewni Heroes.

Equipment

  • Dwarven automaton vessel

DAV for short is the physical yet mechanical body that Cater's soul resides in, his true name was lost with other details of his past life. Regardless the DAV was specifically designed by him when he still had his original body and its purpose was to be an improvement over the biological one.

DAV is constructed from Dwarven metals which are and so far have always been the best quality metal available on Mewni, its closest equivalent from Earth which is Titanium is several leagues weaker than it on a ounce per ounce basis. DAV not only boasts impressive physical durability due to the material it is constructed of but also the six potent enchantments that Caster has active at all times on them.

The first enchantment DAV possesses is the 'Tower' enchantment, this extremely rare enchantment serves as a reactive armor towards all energy based attacks launched towards Caster. Instead of harming him the energy is stored inside DAV and serves as a power source to fill his Martial Spirit or Magical spells, the 'Tower' enchantment is very powerful as even solar flares from stars have failed to over load what seems to be a capacitor with infinite capacity but 'Tower' only works against energy based attacks and fails against energy constructs or physical projectiles/strikes.

The second enchantment DAV possesses is a high resistance to Anti-Magic nullification attributes as well as Magic Absorption, this enchantment is called 'Containment' it serves almost as an insulation for Caster and prevents his magic from being forcefully removed or manipulated by outside parties.

The third enchantment DAV possess is 'Dwarven Perseverance' this enchantment allows Caster's mechanical form to self repair mid combat at a rate of 1/10th of his body per ten seconds so it would only take a minute for Caster to return to optimum physical efficiency.

The fourth enchantment DAV possesses is 'Temp' this enchantment makes DAV immune to all Heat and Cold based effect, the fifith enchantment DAV possesses is 'Anchor' this prevents Caster from being teleported or phased against his will and only allows so if he consents to this or the figure in question is a high tier reality warper

The final enchantment DAV possesses is 'Immorta' this places the Mewni soul in a state of immortality and prevents outside figures from manipulating his automic form as well as forms of Death Inducement/Life Manipulation

  • Anchron Crystal

The Anchron Crystal is the only other piece of equipment Caster carries for as a Master Mage he needs no other equipment, the Anchron Crystal serves three purposes. The first grants Caster a self recharging supply of magical energy to power his spells and replenish is Martial Spirit, the second purpose serves as a way to permanently imprison Skyfather's and use their own power to serve Caster. The final and third person of the Anchron Crystal is to grant temporary aura's of absolute invulnerability towards an Anchron.

Magic Abilities

While other members of the Companions have an arsenal of weapons or equipment the old wizard does not and instead uses an arsenal of magical spells for fighting and aiding his allies.

  • Restoration

Caster primarily uses three forms of restoration

[Remove Ailment]<- This spell removes various status effects such as poisons/toxins/viruses/debuffs/curses even exotic and unique ones from himself or his allies.

[Heal]<- This spell is used to heal all types of whether they be from burns/cuts/bruises/magic/cosmic//physical/severe or minor

[Resurrect]<- This spell is used to resurrect any fallen allies, even from Death Inducement/Reality Warping/Time Manipulation (Note it can not resurrect targets with out souls or those who have had their souls destroyed, it also can not resurrect Anchrons or those that died through natural causes)

  • Destruction

Caster primarily uses seven forms of Destruction spells

[Fire]<- An incendiary spell capable of limited fire manipulation, hot enough to vaporize entire rivers instantaneously but powerful enough to destroy castles in single shots.

[Curse]<- A spell that halves an enemies physical attributes and quality of equipment/armor/weapon, making them half as Strong/Durable/Fast (Capable of being stacked up to three times)

[Storm]<- A spell that grants limited electrokinesis, enough lightning to lay waste to entire cities quickly but each individual bolt being a thousand times more powerful than a regular bolt.

[Whirl]<- A spell that grants limited aerokinesis, capable of manipulating the air to blow away entire mountains or asphyixate entire legions of soldiers.

[Earth]<- A spell that grants limited geokinesis, capable of commanding the masses of mountains or summoning massive Earth quakes to annihilate armies

[Absorption]<- A ranged based ray spell that absorbs an enemies life force and mana based on the duration the ray remains on the target, the longer it remains the more life force and mana is absorbed per second.

[Silence]<- A spell that prevents enemy mages from using magic (Effects targets below planetary scale)

  • Conjuration

Caster primarily uses three forms of Conjuration

[Ethereal Swords]<- Intangible swords are summoned that are capable of causing harm whilst still remaining intangible. These Ethereal Swords are powerful enough to easily cleave through those more durable than a mountain yet only special attributes or techniques are able to make Ethereal swords tangible and thus vulnerable to harm.

[Elemental Golems]<- Physical humanoid creatures made out of three possible elements Earth/Water/Fire/ are summoned to do Caster's bidding and are only banished if their elemental energy is absorbed or physical forms are banished.

[Sustenance]<- A spell capable of summoning various types of food and liquids to feed/quench allies.

  • Alteration

Caster primarily uses six forms of Alteration

[Multiward]<- Caster's most used spell due to its defensive purposes, provides an invisible barrier that protects users from all manners of attacks so long as its active at the cost of requiring mana to recast the shield every time he breaks. These force fields provide the selected targets with the durability of a massive mountain yet their mobility and strength remained unaffected.

[Medusa's Stare]<- A spell that transmutates targets into Stone

[Enlighten]<- A spell that reduces the weight of the target by 1/100th of its original weight (Ergo something weighing 100 tons is now only 1 ton) Caster can stack this spell up to ten times before it reaches its limits, typically the duration of the spell once stack ten times can last up to a day while being only used once can last up to an hour

[Gills]<- A spell that grants the selected targets the ability to breathe water for a day

[Light]<- A spell that creates a source of luminosity, the more mana used the greater the brightness

[Burden]<- A spell that is the opposite of Enlight, instead of making the target 1/100th of its weight the spell Burden makes the target 100x times its original weight and can be stacked up to ten times with the same duration Enlighten has.

  • Illusion

Caster primarily uses three forms of Illusion

[Invisibility]<- A spell that makes the selected targets immune to detection, the only methods of detection is through having a very powerful form of supernatural detection (Regular supernatural detection is not sufficient) for even through searching all fields of the visible spectrum and searching carefully for sounds will result in failed attempts to detect figures with Caster's Invisibility spell.

[Nightmare]<- A spell that is a form of high level telepathy, the enemies greatest fears are brought to life in a powerful illusion or resurface into their memory in a extended loop (The more mana placed the longer Nightmare lasts)

[Decoy]<- A spell that creates hardlight copies of a selected target

MS Abilities

Caster possesses only two MS abilities

  • Mayhem

A very powerful mental attack that is the equivalent of an Omega level telepath unleashing his or her full power onto an opponent but rather than breaking or dominating a mind the MS technique does neither and rather confuses the minds commands. Once MS Mayhem is used all the actions that a foe does now become the opposite (If an opponent tries to flee they will fight and vice versa, if an opponent decides to take a step forward their body will instead they a step backward, if an opponent wants to evade an attack they will instead attempt to withstand an attack, if an opponent which to aid an ally they will instead inconvenience the ally by either attacking or refusing to give support, etcetera)

  • Alpha Strike

For a short duration MS Alpha Strike gives Caster no warm up times or cool downs for his spells as well as giving him limitless mana, MS Alpha Strike thus gives the Caster the ability to spam all his magical abilities simultaneously with out any strain or concern for managing his magical reserves so long as his Martial Spirit reserves do not fail.

Physicals

  • Strength

25 ton lifting and striking strength but this is his maximum limit

  • Speed

Massively Hypersonic, twice as fast as lightning in both combat and reaction speed but due to having no biological body he has limitless stamina to keep up this pace indefinitely

  • Durability

Blunt trauma durability is makes Caster a man sized fortress but he is still relatively weak compared to most Companions yet his resistance to penetrating attacks are far greater than his resistance to blunt trauma attacks (Because the impacts still travel in and damage fine cogs and gears while the blades are stopped by his armor)

Miscellaneous

Caster has all the mannerisms of a polite elderly man, his patience and wisdom is greater than all the other members of the Companions combined and none could say that they have ever seen him truly furious. Caster is the type of person to let bygones be bygones and give others second chances and surprisingly despite being only 5'0 in height his body is incredibly dense due to the way he smithed the Dwarven Metal which makes him weigh 1,000 lbs when not using magic.

He has an almost grand father like effect over the companions and is always there to help both emotionally and physically.

Rider

Rider is a King called Imperius Rex and known to hail from a lost continent known as Terra Aurora, his country was invaded by the faction Necromancers Shadow, he was caught in a endless battle for 500,000 years against an seemingly infinite undead army as his people all died in front of his very own eyes,

Eventually Caster and Assassin found the King and saved him from his ordeal, the king in return and in a display of gratitude vowed to serve as a member of the Companions and aid in any ordeals that they would face.

A special exotic leather like armor hailing from Imperius Rex's home continent, it seems enchanted however no source of magic essence or energy has ever been detected emanating from it but despite this it does have one quality and that is its indestructibility.

  • Excelsior

A blade of quality only surpassed by the Sword of Solus, Excelsior is the King's sword and the same sword he used to fight the Necromancers Shadow armies non stop for 525,000 years.

The red cape that Imperius carries on his person are the remains of a powerful Dragon he slayed in his adolescene in order to claim the thrown for Aurora Terra,
