Jesus Christ on a crutch. For all the bashing of the hilt and cutting angles, the EU, dumpstered as it was, provides an easy explanation. There are at least 10 substances that are resistant to light sabers. That hilt is probably made with a Cortosis alloy or some other like material. What an odd nitpick.

I wonder which group gets a new Adamantium statue? Even Wolverine's remains are worth fighting over given the supposed value/rarity they assign the metal in Marvel 616. It would be somewhat entertaining if Cyclops' contingent winds up with a new garden statue for a year or two.

That is definitely a thing. Wish they would have brought back the armor from Web of Spider-Man #100 instead..
