@lvenger: he doesn't like what Snyder says about not standing for anything grandiose like truth, justice and the American way, but Snyder isn't wrong. Superman isn't political; Superman just wants to do what he believes is right based on his upbringing.

Thanks for replying for me but that isn't quite it...Superman not being political is common knowledge. Going on Snyder's explanation and what's generally been happening with Superman lately, 'the completely unsure Superman' isn't that a very scary thing?

And i'm not understanding how that is more inspiring. That last paragraph made no sense to me either. Also speaking of political alliance, does that and following the law go hand in hand? Have you seen Superman vs the elite? (It isn't the law according to superman) Based on what my view on Superman is i'm really confused as to what Snyder is getting at. If anyone can explain i'd really appreciate it.

"The opening of the book is pretty awesome for fans of the new Lobo, as we see the final moments with the impostor Lobo, the one you remember from the 90s. He's a character that fits in the time he was created but doesn't work now."

That is your opinion. And it is wrong. Sorry Mat. Still love you though.

That second scene where for a sec it seemed like twilight met titanic got me really mad,but otherwise this didn't thrill me in anyway, actually the only dialogue i enjoyed was 'fauxbo's'. I understand how 90's Lobo may not work today but he was made as a parody right? so why not make this 'real lobo' a parody instead of pandering.

P.S.- Not being a particularly angry fanboy, just trying to figure out why DC doesn't learn from the past but instead ignores it.

Loved this issue. New Gods being done some major justice and i was iffy on the announcement of adding newly created one's into the fold but they work, blending in almost seamlessly. I even enjoyed Green Lantern #35. Looking forward to what this event brings, hopefully it carries on at the same pace.

I'm loving the articles you've been writing these past couple of weeks Gregg! Keep em coming! This was great and i fully agree with you on how viners should conduct themselves in the battle threads and keep them as insightful, interesting and fun as possible.
