I'm hoping somewhere down the line, not too soon but not too late either they (the two supermen) have a Leonard Nimoy - Zachary Quinto Spock like relationship.

The premise of this story is kinda like Pre-flashpoint earth 2 Superman and Lois along with Superboy prime and Alexander Luthor witnessing the goings on of the current continuity with the only difference being they're in the world amongst the people (and heroes) and have a son! Pretty excited for it honestly.

Though, i have this bad feeling about Dan Jurgens writing. I mean i know he'll have characterisation down but i'm not sure about how intriguing he can make a story and this book has potential to be insane!

Looking forward to seeing Lois reacting to pictures of new 52 Superman and Wonder woman lip locked and basically her whole commentary on the new 52 universe.

@dondave: You're right, but three months of work would put a lot of food in bellies and would put a dent in a struggling economy.

Isn't that why WB shot the Gotham parts of BvS in Detroit?

That was because Detroit looks like shit, so it alrealdy had that Gotham feel.

Hahahahahahahahaha!!

That was heartwarming.

This.

Oh man now i'm imagining, just an issue, a whole issue of superman devoted to this story or one like it, something personal and intimate. 'One on one' is an excellent title too. If executed well with a lil refinement of dialogue i could easily see it becoming a classic. It screams what the core of the character is in a smart and subtle way.

Wish comic writer's wrote this kind of a smaller, intimate story more often.

(i mean even if you're not a fan of boy scout superman, you'll like a story like this. And people go on and on about how superman is a hard character to write, jeez)

@squalleon: Now that's doubly annoying because I've yet to read any of Pak's run. I brought the TPB and I was really looking forward to it. But now that he's behind this whole stupid Truth thing then I'm disappointed.

His first arc is pure fun action with an okay plot and nice moments, a casual read. From then it goes downhill. His Superman becomes a self-loathing idiot, who EVERYONE blames for everything in EVERY ARC, he wins the day by being pessimistic (The man of tomorrow right?), he literally does more harm than good and at the end of the day you stop caring because of how repeating some concepts are.

To put it simply, Superman under Pak is a mediocre Marvel character in a Marvel world.

Yup, i think Screw-up man is the going name for pak's version of the character. His first arc of action was great though, very fun but later it just becomes a bummer and when a superman comic bums you out, something's not right.

Lol, just realised, out of the last two 'Blockbuster' superman crossovers, he turned evil in one and lost his powers in the other, stellar writing...
