Btw @soldierofel really good post. I wasn't aware about the world suicide day fact and looked up a post you made a year ago. I read the article and i'm actually wiping tears off my face.

Have you read the return of superman? There was the very definition of an earth shattering cosmic horror trying to destroy the world in the form of Cyborg Superman and Mongul. Luckily Superman was revived by the eradicator, Otherwise there was literally no defence. Although if he is permanently taken out. Like in ROS and even 52(he was powerless for a year) i think he would be replaced in some fashion.

People apparently want to see a guy who drives a car more than a guy who can fly...What happened to wonder and happiness?

What i worry about if this rumour has any weight is the film being compromised because execs think more minutes of batman on screen will bring in more money, Da actual F***? Batman being in this film is enough. IMO a great performance shouldn't change the vision of the movie

People like blue skies too WB, it's a refreshing change of pace. Hope Superman brings batman into the light(which is what everything is alluding to and what i'm expecting) and the reverse doesn't happen.

I'm optimistic for this film and not cautiously so. What i take away from Eisenberg's comments is his praise for the script, given his (jesse's) body of work, his praise of the writer and well written characters has me excited. Hopefully Zack Snyder ties it all up with a nice shiny bow.

For me it's always been about story. I don't need to be laughing to like something. The winter soldier and The dark knight are testament to serious superhero films and naturally they're peppered with humour.

Looking forward to BvS and Eisenberg as Luthor. He gave off this smug ***hole vibe in the trailer that already makes me hate him, mission accomplished! :)
