Like what he stands for, dislike how a green rock and magic knife could take him out
What does he stand for, though? He's definitely not Captain America. His moral code is kryptonean and that sometimes gets in the way.
honestly i don't mean to sound rude but you obviously don't know Superman if that's your answer, also the latter part of your statement makes no sense. And IMO in terms of morals and what the character stands for and the like, Captain America isn't at the same level as Superman. Truth, Justice and the American way, doesn't get any simpler than that.
Answering the OP- I love him, an icon,an ideal. There's alot more to Superman than people give him credit for.
I have my own complaints about this ending sure, but how come there wasn't this level of outrage when Batman tackled Harvey Dent off a ledge in the dark knight, maybe he's not directly responsible for the deaths of all the other villains in the trilogy but he was directly responsible for that one. What did Heath Ledger's performance help people forgive that? Or was there something I missed? Just curious.
Some good insights here,i didn't understand this issue at all after page 5, re-reading it now from different points of view, hope it begins to make sense.
I think In the new 52 his ship traveled through a wormhole to earth much like it did in Man of Steel. And even if it didn't I think relativity would be a factor, also new 52 kal was some months old when he was sent to earth.
