So Carol is an authoritarian idiot who is going by the old excuse abused by a corrupt authority that the end justifies the means, what a surprise. I'm not surprised I haven't found anyone online, either a user or a comic journalist who actually supports Carol's side in the conflict. At least there were some reasons to be sympathetic towards Tony's and the Pro Reg side in the original Civil War. I can't believe this CW has me defending virtues of the original.
Omg yes THIS to this entire post! Reading this felt exactly the same. Carol's a multiple face palm worthy idiot, sooo dumb. I'm not very familiar with her characterisation otherwise so i don't know if this is some kind of character assassination. If it isn't, i kind of really dislike 'captain marvel'.
Honestly found myself asking the same thing, which readers agree with her side?! Not much of a dividing story if you don't divide. Tony's reason was much more understandable in the original.
Gary Frank needs to do a book soon, if it's Superman great but i'd go for anything. I need more of his art in my life. I know Batman earth one v3 is happening but i want him to draw more colourful characters.
He had an art book scheduled to come out but that was cancelled :(
What's funny is that Mehcad Brooks is 6' 3'' and Tyler is listed at 6' 0''. So, Jimmy Olsen is bigger than Superman by 3 inches.
That was and still is a lil bit my problem with Mehcad. They basically cast black Superman to play Jimmy Olsen, he's uber good looking and huge, wonder why they went that way. I could see Donald Glover more for the role of Jimmy than Mehcad.
Did they ever explain that he was geeky and then Superman helped him become like the James Bond of photo journalists or something?
Why this scene made me chuckle, Lex finally gets his wish, to be revered as a superman, the superman of Metropolis and then Superman shows up and ruins it for him lol.
Lex as a hero sits as well with me as it does with Superman. There's always that darkness, Darkseid war showcased that. Still the premise still lends itself to potentially good stories and more conflict with this 'new' Superman so i'm happy to see how it plays out. Long run I don't think there's a genuinely good Luthor till the 853rd century.
