Before Sandman

The difference between this and Before Watchmen is that the creator is actually writing it and not just a bunch of random people in the industry.

Moore was asked to do it, he said no.

Oh I know. I wasn't criticizing BW; I was just pointing out the difference here. :)

Good choice. What will Jim Lee be doing now? I know he's a busy man nowadays, but he can't keep his art from the world! He's just too good.

No one can beat up Batman and then not get the shit kicked out of them later.

Why does just about every user on this site hate the first 2 Spider-Man movies? They were fucking fantastic. As far as the question goes, as a villain, the Goblin was better because he had no remorse. He was obsessed with power and was completely crazy. Loki was probably a more developed character though because he had remorse, and you got to see more sides to him than just the villain. As a villain: Goblin; as a character: Loki.

Mortal Kombat was great, and I'm sure this will be too, but does anyone else not like the Flash being in that armor? I don't know. It looks a little weird to me. Like I said, I think this game looks really cool though.

Since Supes weaknesses are kryptonite and MAGIC, I'd have to say that the most powerful dark wizard in the HP universe would win.

I'm more looking forward to The Dark Knight Rises. There's just something that really bugs me about this one. I feel like I already know exactly what's going to happen in this movie, but it doesn't look bad. I agree that giving Spider-Man his humor back is a nice move, but I really also liked the first 2 Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies. They were really great and still 2 of the best super hero movies ever made. Also, the fact that they did a wholesale reboot of a franchise that is less than a decade old is a trend that I do not want to see catch on.

@Kal'smahboi: I enjoyed this one quite a bit. What's the word on his Deathstroke issue?

This is one book that I've been considering dropping, but after reading 9, I think I'll keep reading. It's miles ahead of what Tony S. Daniel was doing by the end of his run (Morphicius was cool, but not much else). Also, the art is fantastic in this issue. Hawkman's dialogue is a bit uneven, but I liked this issue a lot. Is anyone else keeping up with this/enjoying it?
