Writers are brought in to write scripts all the time so this news doesn't confirm anything. They're been bringing in script writers to write a Wonder Woman movie for decades now, including one from Joss Whedon, and what do they have to show for it. I'll take this news with a grain of salt.

Sounds unbelievably gimmicky and quite frankly stupid. Much like female Thor, it sounds like another insane idea to cater to cackling hen feminists who don't even care for things like Ghostbusters so what's the point?

They really need to leave this franchise alone, we don't NEED a Ghostbusters 3. People wouldn't accept any replacement members regardless of gender. They're only entertaining this idea just so that when people object, they can pull the "sexism" card to silence opposition.

In all honesty a WW movie has little to no potential for a great movie. I mean think about it, she has no iconic villains, no great storylines, and she's very boring as a character. Hell her animated movie didn't sell fast enough to warrant sequels according to the producers and her books struggle to avoid cancellation. Considering how expensive it is to produce superhero movies these days, they won't be willing to take a chance on an unprofitable franchise, especially after the Green Lantern debacle. She can't even carry a TV pilot while Green Arrow and a minor character from Avengers can have a successful show.

There are many other DC characters with more appeal and accessibility like the Teen Titans who've proven they can be successful in the mainstream.

Pretty sound idea to me, it gives a chance to see how people react to him, try to get a bit of a following and offer some hype.

I really like the artstyle, it manages to be both distinctly Marvel and distinctly Disney at the same time.
