Ditto.  This is just not the Superman I know and grew up with. Superman, in my eyes, should be the example for everyone. This guy however, just isn't. He may have Superman powers, he may wear the symbol and look like him. But he just isn't Superman to me (yet). Maybe it'll be different later on.

deathstroke is blind?

A LOT of people hate the idea of making Barbara Batgirl again, which I don't really understand. I get that people like Stephanie and Cass (Cass is the Batgirl that I grew up and my favorite, just like Wally West is my Flash and my favorite), but Gail has written Barbara better than anyone. And people thinking that her being Oracle in for three years or whatever doesn't make any sense should just look at the fact that Bruce Wayne hasn't aged in the last 30 years. And Tim Drake has been a teenager for the last 10 or so.

Seriously, Gail has earned my trust, especially with Barbara Gordon. I'm looking forward to reading this book and loving every minute of it.

i wudda picked Chicago personally or maybe Baltimore or Detroit but I guess New York isn't necessarily bad just, its been done to death. You could possibly look at it as a type of right of passage but to me it only comes off as sending him to the absolute most expected place, depending on the writers it could add something because he is out of his element but i cant help but shake this horrible feeling of impending doom for the title.  
 
P.S. Spider-man, to me, always has and always will be New York's superhero regardless of title
