Ben Afleck directing the JLA movie?

I read the article on Comic Vine about this and just wanted to go a little further with it and see everyone's thoughts on what I have to say and hear everyone else's thoughts on this topic and what they have to say. I don't think Afleck would be a bad pick to direct this movie. Sure this will be pushing his directing skills to the limit and a lot of pressure is on him, but I think he can handle himself. It would be a good comeback for him as well. In the article it said that he only directs movies that he will star in, so what Character do you think he would do? I honestly have no idea who he would play. Also, in the article, he said he regrets doing Daredevil. Why do you think he regrets it? I thought he played a great Matt Murdock. Lemme know what you guys think on the questions I asked and what you think about Ben Afleck directing the JLA movie!

Sidekicks are sometimes better.

I don't know about you guys, but I like Robin more than I do Batman. I like Batman's proteges more than I do him like Nightwing and Red Robin and such. I know that Nighwing and Red Robin aren't 'sidekicks' but you get my point. Does anyone else feel the same about this? Does anyone disagree? I just wanna know what everyones thoughts are about it. Just curious. This doesn't just apply to the Batman stories, it applies to all of the DC universe and the Marvel. Just lemme know what you think!

Tired of seeing the same villains in Batman movies?

I saw all of the Christopher Nolan movies and I thought they were excellent. But I'm kinda tired of seeing the same villains being done in the movies. The only two new villains I saw were Scarecrow and Ras Al Ghul. They were great portrayals of the villains to. But I wanna see more. Joker has been done twice, Cat woman has been done twice, Two-Face has been done twice, and Bane has been done twice now and I wanna see a new villain do their bidding in a movie. I know penguin was done and so has Mr. freeze, Poison Ivy, and the Riddler. All great portrayals of the character, besides Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy they were God awful, but i'd just like to see more. Maybe seeing Black Mask or Deadshot would be cool. I'd also like to see The Riddler again. Anyone agree? leave your feed back and lemme know whats on your mind!

The new 52

So, There is a lot of skepticism on the new 52. I can understand why people wouldn't like it or feel different about it but for the most part, from what I've read, I think they have done an ok job with it so far. Sure we will miss the originality of DC before the reboot but whats happened has happened and we have to cope with it. Don't let it ruin the DC fandom inside us because the stories really aren't that bad; In fact, I like what i've read so far. DC rebooted because it was the perfect time to with how the comic book industry is getting bigger and it gave others a chance to hop in that were just starting to read.

For those of us who have been reading all our lives, reading the stories before the reboot, stop being so butt hurt over this. It's really not that bad. Give it a chance and don't give up on DC. You can still buy and read the older comics, it's not like they have gone and disappeared. I still read and enjoy the BTR (before the reboot) comics of DC, but I still enjoy the new 52. The reboot makes finding the older comics more fun to find and read.

All I'm trying to say is give the reboot a chance and don't let it ruin your love for DC. I understand your reasons for being upset about it but don't knock it before you try it.

Stay loyal and love comics!
