The biggest concern is that I don't want Exiles to become strictly an X-Men related book. I liked that they went to universes and dealt with generic MU themes. But, Claremont has a habit of bringing his favorite toys with him whenever he goes to a new book, like how he's bringing Psylocke to the Exiles. I'm not that bothered with Psylocke, but I don't want to see story after story where all the Exiles do is fight one alternate version of Apocalypse or Nimrod or Sinister or, heaven forbid, The Technnet.

Yeah, I don't think the Booster Gold story is over, but at this point, I'm leading to it not being Booster who is behind Supernova. And I think that when Booster returns, he'll be the ancestor and not the Booster we know.

I love this site, and I really don't want to make things any more confusing than the comic world already makes it. But, I have a question that I posed to Captain Cascader that he suggested I create a forum topic about. That being, how should we handle multiple or alternate versions of a character.

His suggestion was to keep all the versions on the same page, for instance, even though there have been four people to go by the identity of Robin, we should only have one page where all four Robins are described with the real name being used to identify who is the current Robin.

I have no problem with that whatsoever, but my concern is that we might confuse readers especially when dealing with characters like the Exiles. Almost all of the Exile characters were alternate versions of Marvel characters, but I feel that since they're so radically different from their MU counterpart, that it might not make sense to keep them on the same page.

For instance, the MU Sunfire is Shiro Yoshida, but the Sunfire in Exiles was Mariko Yoshida, who was a female. I'm okay with putting them on the same page except that when you go to put down who was a team member of Exiles, it might confuse the casual reader into thinking that Shiro was once a member of Exiles.

But, I'm open to suggestions, and I promise to abide by whatever decision is decided upon.

Very few comic couples come to mind that have as much of a controversial history as Rogue and Gambit. Whether you love or hate either character, there are many fans who are vocal about their opinions on whether Rogue and Gambit should be together forever or call it quits.

Me, I'm in the "Call it quits" category. I love Rogue, I really do, but it felt like the writers didn't know who Rogue was when they decided to pair her up with Gambit. She went from being a strong tough person who has proven herself time and again to being a whiny insecure brat who needed Gambit to convince her over and over that he loved her. Rogue lost her identity and strength when she developed a relationship with Gambit, and personally, I'm glad that they are currently separated from each other.

Yeah, I love Exiles and can only hope and pray that Claremont doesn't muck the book up.

LOL! So true about death not being permanent in comics. However, I'm on ScoodleDaddle's side for the moment in thinking that Booster, Beetle and Max are dead at least for the next few years.

As for the identity of Supernova, fans at my comic store, Whatever, have postulated the theory that Supernova could be Mister Miracle using the Boom Box to create the teleportation and other powers that Supernova has used. I'm not convinced. I wonder if the whole "It may not be one individual" tease that DC recently put out has merit or if it's just another ruse put out to throw us off the trail. If it were individuals all using the Supernova identity, I have to wonder who has the types of powers that have been used already including Teleportation. I can't, at the moment, even come up with one DC character who has teleportation abilities.

Who's your favorite X-Man and why? What was the first story you remember reading about them?

For me, it is hands down Rogue who is my favorite. I like her for a variety of reasons, but mostly because she's a tough gal who doesn't take things lying down. If you're looking for a scrap, then Rogue will be more than happy to oblige.

My first story with Rogue was Secret Wars #3. She wasn't featured much in it, but I felt an immediate connection to her because she knew that she was hated not only for being a mutant but also being a former member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and she wasn't going to let that stop her. She was and always will be a tough girl to put down. She rocks!

Yay, another Exiles fan. I've been on board with Exiles from the very beginning, and I have to say that one of my favorite universes was the one where the Phalanx took over most of the universe.

I also liked the universe where Wolverine was still with Alpha Flight. It had a bigger team than the Marvel Universe AF has ever been. It was just so cool seeing all these characters and trying to figure out how many of them I recognized. And how cool was it that John Proudstar (Thunderbird) became Shaman when the original Shaman retired.
