"Oh christ, this is by far trying to compete with Iron Man! The humour doesn't work and neither does the CGI "

That's what I was thinking (and posted on another blog)!

Well, the Iron Man part at least.  We're psychic twins! "
Actually, we're triplets. -- I was going to pass, anyway. But then, I hoped for a movie a la First Flight (which was cool).

Way better than Blackest Night, if you ask me. It was like ALIENS and STARSHIP TROOPERS on acid.

Seconded. -- It's not just snark for the hell of it, it's just that when I read the headline I did tilt my head sideways and uttered...  "Again? Come on..."

I'll pass, anyway. -- There's way more interesting and less bloated stuff on the shelves these days...

Lemme say that those four pictures look rad.  I'm a big fan of the Ultimate look, but this approach is eye-pleasing. But that's just me.

This isn't a surprise. At all. -- This "show" needs to end. Now.

TURF the 1st was good, but sometimes, Ross pulled out the "Bendis" card, that is to say he crammed way much too much dialogue on a single page anditkindalookedlikethisometimes. -- I liked it and hated it a bit as well. Edwards was superb and the afterword by Millar was also cool.

Or keep him out of the typewriter, give him a pencil and let him provide art for a series. We can call it square then. He... Well... "ASSAULTED" Batman in 10 issues. Slowly, and painfully. Argh, I had forgotten about that series. Damnit.

P.S Yes, All-Star Batman and Robin is awful. Buying it because of the art is a big-ass rip-off.

I can clearly picture RHONA MITRA as Red Sonja. Hell, I'd gladly pay money to go see a movie with RHONA MITRA as RED SONJA anytime! but NOT Megan Fox, PUH-LEEZ, gee, that girl couldn't act to save her life! -- Rhona is fit and gorgeous, and she'll look great in that chain-mail, who's wioth me!? -- The hair? Well, she could dye it, but I'm sure McGowan's was also powered by a digital treatment anyway.

Gee, not Whedon, puh-leez, give that thing to LeTerrier or Favreau!

Or, as a couple of fellow CVers said ealier, Zack Snyder would be a terrific choice.
