I only feel bad about Animal man. I am glad DC is axing some of these bat books. Please cancel more.
Static Shock, simply because Static has gone back to comic purgatory, and Sword of Sorcery, because it had so much potential, and was axed. DC could have done something with their resident Magical Girl.
Well for me, the 2000's didn't really have it's own identity as an era until around mid 2002 (sans 9/11). Life was still riding off the greatness of the 90s.
But yes, overall, I do have to say that the 90's were better. As a matter of fact, I'd go so far as to say that the late 80's to the early 2000's was the greatest time period to be alive.
I mean, look at these commercials. You could just tell that America was at it's greatest:
And who could forget shows like these?
One could see the potential for greater living that the 90s offered just by looking at some of their shows. I'll never forget.
Lol. I was born in 90, but I do remember most of the 90, and everything important that happened to me and that I saw from when I was in kindergarten when I was 5 years old. I remember all of the important things that made the 90s the 90s (at least, from a kid's perspective).
The 2000s were amazing as well. Music was good, but I feel he quality of music deteriorated in the middle of the decade, but I do remember things like JLU, kids WB, and such, and my first time truly falling in love with comics, thanks to amazing writers like Whedon and (especially) Vaughn. The Runaways were amazing. That combined with the summers, and the explosion of anime in the 2000s made that a period to remember.
I like how BP is to Namor's left in that New Avengers cover, although, I would much preferred it to have been the other way around. It would have been a little bit more profound, considering what's happened. Still a nice cover.
Lol. Inception was not confusing at all. And btw, you are awesome for liking Serial Experiments Lain. Also, I'd suggest watching Paprika, as that movie was awesome. Perhaps my favorite anime movie.
Not trying to start a sexism war, but reading the title of this thread made me wonder who the smartest women in Marvel comics are. Like, if someone can rank the to 8 smartest women in the MU...
