This is kind of stupid...but what would happen if DC, Marvel, Boom studios, Valiant, Dynamite, Dark horse, Archie comics, IDW, Aspen, and Image (and all of its partner studios) created one huge superhero crossover!!! my mind would be blown.
" @cbishop: MGM's Marvelous Wizard of Oz was the direct predecessor to Superman Vs. Spider-Man . While definitely not a crossover in the truest sense Marvel/DC co-owned their co-created version of the Wizard of Oz characters making it an Access/Amalgam predecessor of sorts as well, I have included it solely for the aforementioned reasons. I didn't know that. :) But does it qualify as a crossover? Joint venture, certainly, but the characters are owned by neither company. <shrugs> Wizard of Oz is one of my all-time favorite stories (still looking for the rest of the books) so anything that gives it exposure is a good thing. :)
Is MGM's Marvelous Wizard of Oz a crossover, or an adaptation of the movie? Nice list. I've got a similar one called Crossover Ho, but I haven't really added any notes to the issues, other than the titles.
I don't think I saw this one in there, would you consider it a crossover? Great list, I think between my brother an I we own close to half those issues.
