DC is now owned by folks who value the IPs only and DO NOT WANT TO PRINT FLOPPIES.The disconnect with the general audience and focus on Batman did this IMO. Creative mass exodus continues. Just as DC continuity is finally straightend out/embraced.

AT&T are NOT GOING TO SELL the characters, they want to use them for HBO MAX, Movies, Cartoons, TV etc. They just see no need to make comics for established iconic characters. The Trinity will still have comics just not from "DC Comics" but from other publishers to whom they have leased the characters, similar to the TMNT, TRANSFORMERS, G.I. Joe, etc. It may be a few diffrent ones. Doubtful Marvel will make a play for them as they would want full ownership and movie rights. Batman will be fine and there is a MEGATON of DC backissues and iterations...

DC will stop printing floppies in June BUT the Trinity will continue in digital format and may be licsened out to other publishers.

Jason Fabok from Three Jokers was working on a sequel with Geoff Johns but has now left DC for the indies and is saying "DC is no longer capeable of producing projects of that magnitude."
