So i borrowed a lot of the seasons of Smallville from a friend, since I've finally decided to watch the show. So far it been a decent watch. 
Yet to my surprise and wonder, I've also noticed that everyone in Smallville seems to be knocked unconscious every other day (and which sub-human effort it seems), and i can't help but wonder why. I know it been put in thereby the script writers to protect Clark Kent's secret, but after 2 seasons it becomes extremely silly, and quite unrealistic, that people constantly trip and fall lightly into something and therby gets knocked out. Did the kryptonite somehow make people in Smallville more fragile?
