Kinda new to comics, because I've not given it much thought since i were little. Back then i found that many (all-text) books were a bit more exciting, plus i could borrow them for free in libraries. But now, after many years, i started to miss the heroes of my childhood, so i out a got myself a sh*t load of comics, and is now coming up to speed on everything. And I've got to admit I've truly missed reading comics, and not just seeing my old heroes on the silver screen.
