Rachel lost her PF powers. The point one story was a whitish blue Phoenix restarting a dying planet probably due to Terrax. The fiery phoenix is coming for Hope Summers which will likely turn her evil. So maybe we might see some Phoenix on Phoenix action. Loeb is writing this story so you never know. It's going to be a Marvel wide event though.
If they want Hope to work they should of been more original. Glad that Emma is back to her usual ways. Maybe she'll be interesting again. Don't know why people think the x-office doesn't love Cyclops. All stories x-men stories have him involved. Might be part of the reason people are tired of him and Wolverine.
Thor and Bucky will be back esp since Marvel didn't make a big deal of the deaths. Ultimate PP's death got alot of press and attention, even Human Torches. Thor and Bucky's death are too quiet so they will appear again soon.
I guess Hope will be the new Dark Phoenix (writers seem to still want to get glory off of that classic storyline). X-Fans don't seem to care or seem emotionally attach to Hope. Every time Jean goes away they bring in another red headed Phoenix wielder so writers must need Jean's essence there somewhere. She even has a school now.
Jean coming back might make things interesting again. Emma was at her best when Jean was around. I would like a team up book with them (knowing Marvel they'll throw wolverine or deadpool in there too).
Finally someone who can look past their ego and see the story potential. And what are comics but stories.
