I'll be there. I won't be able to hang out but have a good time. This is my third ECCC in a row. It's a great con with some great guests and panels.

Cheers

I used to think Quitely was universally regarded as a genius. Then I started visiting comic vine and a lot of folks around here don't like the man's art. Hughes is great...as a cover man, but Quitely is a master story teller. There's my two-cents

All of you are arguing with a child. aliensoldier105 can't be more then 16 years old. At least that's how his opinions comes across. Rape is not torture. It's a physical assault. They same way that getting beat up is not torture. And the death penalty? Geez, you gotta be kidding.

There is no justification for the death penalty. Sure doesn't work in Texas. You think killing prisoners will save money? Ever hear of the appeal system? Costs more to kill someone then keep them in prison. Wow...

Here's a long shot...I really want this book. Anyone have a copy they would be willing to part with?

Man, I prefer the old art. It's interesting seeing it side by side. The new stuff looks like a cartoon. Then again I guess it depends what you grew up on.

I wonder if print runs can be related to sales rating. An "Indie" book like Fables probably has a print of of 20,000 copies. Whereas the DC New 52 books like Batman are 100,000 plus. Even if you want to get your hands on the new buzz indie comic, first issues can sell out fast. The low print runs make sense for the smaller publisher as they can't afford to lose money on a large print run if its not a hit....

This an older post but I'll comment on it nonetheless. My favourite changes depending on the story arc. When I first started reading Fables I really liked Snow White and Bigbie....then all of a sudden Blue Boy was kicking ass and totally cool. Next up was Flycatcher...again, he was thrust in the spotlight and was kicking ass. Ozma is a pretty cool character and she has started to really become developed lately. I'm really curious about Mrs. Sprat...where is that story going to go?
