Not. Enough. DC.

@the_red_viper: Definitely limited in the DC department. Besides Hex, I never dove into DC quite as much. I would read a series for a few issues, then switch to something different. I have a few DC characters on my "need to read" list that I have never got around to:

  • Green Arrow
  • Swamp Thing
  • Deaths Stroke

The Deathstroke series in the N52 started out pretty decent but in issue 7 or 8 it came to the hands of Rob Liefield. And Rob Liefield turns everything he touches into crap. So the series became really bad and was cancelled. But you can try the first TPB, I heard it was pretty good. You can check out siome pre 52 stuff featuring him as a villain, like Geoff Johns' run on Teen Titans or something.

Swamp Thing is great no matter what you read. You can choose between Alam Moore's "Saga of the Swamp Thing" from Vertigo, and we all know Moore is awesome, and Scott Snyder's run in the N52.

Green Arrow-in the N52 he started really bad but in issue 17 came a new writer, Jeff Lemier I think, and now it's one of DC's best runs. Or you can try some of the Pre-52 stuff. I'd start with "Year One" which is great, then proceed to "The Longbow Hunters" which is a classic, and it's really good and has fantastic art. It made Mike Grell one of my favorite artists.

@the_red_viper: Thanks for the suggestions. I'm never sure where to start with DC, even with the new52 making it easy to start anywhere. I purposefully have avoided new52 so far just so I can get suggestions like these from people who have read them before I dive in.

Thanks. Ya, it's a great series. It really might be the best writing I've seen in an ongoing series.

nice list. I've read TMNT but then I fell behind.

I've been planning to read Nova for the longest time for I just haven't come around to it. I bought Guardians of the Galaxy recently, so I'm reading that.

As for Invincible, it looks awesome and I've been meaning to read it. But it's 107 issues and time/money consuming. Is it worth it to read all of it?

Nova is definitely worth it if you ever have some extra spending money. Invincible is also really worth it. There are a few jumping on points that you can start from instead of starting at number 1. If you can afford it, it's really worth starting at number 1 though. The story continues to develop from 1-107 without anything that feels like filler. It's a really well written series.

@tparks: Is this all time?

It was when I wrote this at least. I'd have to think pretty hard now if I was to re-do it, because there are a few others I might add.

@tparks: Lots of really recent stuff. I will be reading Sixth Gun (since someone recommended it, I think it was you.) After I get caught up on Chew.
