Powers:

Super-Strength: Basile has 10-ton superstrength.
Super-Human Durability: While certainly not indestructible, Basile has survived hits that would normally kill or severely harm a normal human. For instance, a cop car slammed directly into his torso, and he managed to walk away with a medium amount of injury.
Super-Agility: Able to out-perform the finest human athlete. This allows him to perform amazing acrobatic feats and greatly assists him in fights.
Wall-Crawling: Much like the creature that gave him his powers, he can cling to any surface, as well as crawl up them at considerable speeds.
Super-Stamina: Capable of exerting himself at full capacity for 8 hours without feeling the effects of fatigue.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Limited in nature, but it allows him to recover from severe injuries in days as opposed to weeks or months.
Foreign Chemical Resistance: Much more resistant to drugs or diseases. While this helps him avoid getting sick or being drugged against his will.. it also makes it very difficult to take medication, as the effects will be quickly dulled. Even alcohol and nicotine, much to his disappointment, have a hard time affecting him.
Super-Speed: While no speedster, Basile has chased down speeding cars before with minimal effort, and successfully kept up with motorcycles as well.
Superhuman Reflexes: Able to dodge bullets at point-blank range.
Poison “Sting”: Basile’s namesake, Toxique, comes from his poisonous abilities. His poison can be delivered through two methods. One being a blast of toxic energy that he fires out of his hands. This is a less.. precise method, and the poison is less powerful, but it is easier to hit a target with from a distance. The second method is the large ‘stingers' that eject from his wrist. They are made of hollow bone and can deliver the venom of any spider that he has ever linked minds with into the veins of his victim. It requires precision and direct penetration of the skin, but it is incredibly deadly.
Spider Affinity: As his powers are arachnid-based, he has something resembling a brotherly relationship with spiders. He is capable of communicating with them via telepathic messages, and can make them do his bidding. Basile can also draw upon their memories, or see through their eyes, making them useful for spying on someone. A drawback of this link is that when he is manipulating one of them, any pain caused to them will be reflected back upon him, making it dangerous to use at times.

Skills:

Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Aside from his impressive repertoire of street-brawling skills, Basile is an accomplished practitioner of Savate, a French martial art. He’s studied it over the years and has developed an above-average understanding of it.
Silver Tongue: Exceptionally convincing liar. It’s as if he has as natural talent for it.
Forgery: He’s developed an impressive talent for forgery.
Thievery: Basile is one of the world’s most successful thieves, and not because of his powers alone. His own skill contributes to this.
Marksmanship: While not an exceptional shot, he’s an above-average shooter on his talent alone. His increased reflexes add to this, but he’s still far from the most accurate marksman on the planet.
Acrobatics: Enhanced by his powers, he’s an exceptional acrobat, surpassing the abilities of Olympic acrobats by a noticeable amount.
