@arrsenal: It's almost as if they ignored all his previous feats or forgot his stats or abilities

@pipxeroth: Good luck on the assignment!

We can agree to disagree. Personally I believe Tony would stick to ranged attacks unless forced like he was in the movie.

Either way, great fight and great movie.

@pipxeroth: @love: Both of you make decent points.

Love is right though, because in the OP it states that they are 100%, no circumstances, just a fight with all of their abilities.

By the time Tony fought Cap 1v1, his suit was already damaged from the previous battle.

Granted that MCU Cap can tank a lot, Tonys durability feats are better by now. Even his shit suit from IM3 survived chopper missiles and his house fallinh on top of it. I listed some of his durability feats earlier.

In a standard fight, IM usually sticks to their and bullrushes with his flight. Bloodlusted would definitely use his weaponry to its full extend and Cap would have trouble keeping it at bay. Although his agility is to be noted.

The problem for Cap is bring Tony in range of his attacks, he has trouble with long range attackers.

I'd give it to Tony 85/100

EDIT:

The fight at the end CW is very circumstancial (mostly on Caps favor). So it's pointless to just keep disagreeing over it.

Also, Russos themselves and RDJ stated that Tony himself is nerfed and holding back for CW because he regards Cap as a brother and that it'd make the fights more interesting.

A lot. 616 Widow is a beast and will just straight up murder them.

@gxrevolution: I haven't read that but MCU Iron Man should be at least 30 tons? Maybe?

It's more with how durable he is that it is inconsistent. Personally I blame Shane Black for nerfing him so much in IM3.

All his durability feats before that are well established

Like crashing into a plane and destroying it without any damage, getting shot by a tank, shredded by the helicarrier rotor, surviving like 8 explosions inside the leviathan, that whole scuffle in his house in IM 2 where they crashed through walls and all, Etc etc.

@gxrevolution: I apologize for the misuse of one shotting. I think what most of us mean is that once Tony hit him with a true heavy attack, he was pretty much done for.

They do trade punches but by Tonys own strength feats and established canon durability, Bucky should not have been able to manhandle him those two times.

I loved the fight. It was just frustrating to see them just nerf Iron Man so much

@buildhare: So to recap:

- Tony hits Cap once, Cap blocks and is sent flying about 15 ft. Then Tony cuffs him when he could've missiled him.

- Tony reacts to Caps shield being thrown and disharms him multiple times

- He basically one shots Bucky with the unibeam

- Cap isn't untaggable and gets repulsored quite a bit

- Tonys AI has been capable of many impressive things. Including predicting enemy patterns, fighting multiple enemies at once, and reacting to fast enemies. It makes sense that it could scan a pattern of attack and reprogram the armor to move in defense of those attacks.

- After that Tony has Cap on his knees twice and could've killed him or KOed him if he didn't give him so many warnings.

Also, they were fighting an IM that was already damaged and not at 100 percent energy from the previous fight.

Cap is faster and more skilled. Iron Man has the feats and showings that tell us his strength and durability are way above him.

Also Rhodes is a better fighter than Tony. He'd beat Cap eventually.

@theking47: it's comics versions mate

Also, Iron Man was ignoring Steve for most of that fight, whenever he tagged them he'd sent them flying and his suit was already damaged from the previous fight. Like his sensors not working for example.

After pretty much one shotting Bucky, he almost KOs Cap with h2h and only loses because Bucky touched his foot.

Owned? Nah.

Anyway its comic versions and Iron Man 616 is way out of their league

@ironstark890134: I'm sorry but Cap can't deadlift 50 tons. He dis best peter through experience though.

Also, most of the vine community agrees that Cap beating Iron Man (who the Russos downgraded) is just plot shenanigans
