Didn't one of the previews show Captain America asking Wolverine whether he and the school (in which Wolverine corrected him saying just himself) was on their side?

From what I can tell, its not the school joining the Avenger's side, but just Wolverine. I mean, Wolverine built the school so that kids won't be dragged into fights, and him bringing kids to side with the Avengers will pretty much make him a hypocrite.

Cyclops' side will deff. win, i mean, all you need really is Colossus, Magneto, Emma Frost and IMPERIUS REX (just for the hell of it)

IMO, the X-Force team is built for more espionage and assassinations while the Extinction team is built to screw you over.

Well, there is the classic Dark Phoenix Saga, a bit dated, but grabbing a trade won't hurt anyone.

Or you can go for the more modern House of M, Endangered Species... Regenesis. Its literally one crossover to another.

But if you're lazy or eager to jump onto the X-train, then start from Regenesis and AvX, worry on the other series some other time.

Looking at 2012, in my opinion,

Most Overrated - X-Factor

Tried picking this up a couple of times, but never really got into it. It won the GLAAD award in 2011, it must have meant SOMETHING, but meh.

Worst Series - Generation Hope

You see Hope literally everywhere, hell, you even see Hope in X-Men Legacy, which last I remembered, sided with Wolverine. We have like, 10 X-Titles, we need to cancel a few, and lets start with Generation Hope. Please, Marvel.

Bad Series - Uncanny X-Men

Is it me, or did somewhere along the line Cyclops became a massive douche? I used to actually like Cyclops, for surviving (nearly) 50 years of being with the X-Men, and not resorting to "second mutations", "random resurrections" and "De-Aged, Re-Aged" to keep him around.

With recent events on how Cyclops is written, I am actually hoping that Cyclops gets killed in AvX or something. Stay dead for awhile, let someone else lead the X-Men.

Average at Best - X-Men

With Marvel spewing out titles like Avenging Spider-Man and X-Men, where Hero A crosses over with Hero B, i find it quite gimmicky. I can't lie, First To Last and With Great Power story lines were pretty good, but the whole Jubilee Vampire story lines seem so, not X-Men.

Good Series - New Mutants, Uncanny X-Force

Always been a sucker for New Mutants, ever since I read the 1980s TPBs, until they killed Cypher (one of my fav. X-Men), got rid of Magma, De-aged Magik, killed Warlock, got rid of Wolfsbane, got rid of half of the X-terminators. Hopefully, this New Mutants series will actually give some characters REAL character development, and none of this Magma backstory rubbish.

Uncanny X-Force's current stories are a bit meh, (don't like the Otherworld) and reintroducing a new AoA ongoing series is a bit... unnecessary, but looking past that, into the Apocalypse Solution and Dark Angel Saga, it is a series with equal parts drama, and equal parts action. But seriously, we have Bamfs, AoA Nightcrawler, and as of June, we will have Kid Nightcrawler in the new X-Treme X-Men. WHY CAN'T THEY BRING BACK 616 NIGHTCRAWLER!?!?

Good but should have been Better -X-Men Legacy

Good that they are introducing characters we have not heard of since... Dark X-Men? I dont know, I seem to have feel like we need more Chamber (another of my fav. X-Men) appearances and Rockslide saying stupid 5h1t. Legacy itself is a good book, its just missing something...

The Best Series -Wolverine and the X-Men

With all the Cyclops talking about war, and survival, and Mutant Messiah, we need to kick back sometimes and enjoy the finer things in life. (Like how Wolvie and the X-Men makes me laugh my ass off)
