Apparently the people who redesigned his costume for the movie and new comics don't like the red undies.

I'm glad we mostly agree.  Your right Ghost Rider spitting back the bullets is something that would be in the MASK with Jim Carey. That's exactly my point. It's fine for a more comedic superhero movie. But for a character like Ghost Rider it just looks silly. Referring to the picture you posted of issue 37, he is being shot  and the bullets are just passing through him. That's what would really happen. Not him ingesting the bullets and spiting them back.

The pissing fire is just plan juvenile.

As far as the costume goes, I think of Ghost Rider as a mythical character. I think of his fire as magical. It does burn his costume because it's magic. If it was normal fire than he would not have any costume at all. It would all burn away ,and he would just be a flaming skeleton.

For those who like the Ghost Rider:Spirit of Vengeance trailer, I respectfully disagree.

For a lack of a better word, it pissed me off. For a few reasons. I will get to what really pissed me off later but, first I will mention a few nit picks.

1. The costume and bike are kinda lame. I don't like the burnt leather look. I miss the spikes. I'm sorry but, the first movie's costume looked better.

2. The spitting back of the bullets looks silly and cartoonish. It's right out of a Bugs Bunny cartoon. It would have been cooler if the bullets melted before they reached him. Or if the bullets went through him hitting the bad guys on the other side.

That was just the nit picks. Here is the real reason why I'm Pissed off.

3. The thing that pissed me off the most was Ghost Rider pissing fire. Come on ! Really? ! That's just as childish as seeing Devastator's balls in Transformers 2. Do we need to see that ? To be honest, I don't mind that kind of humor. However, this is not a rated R comedy. It's a superhero movie. Did Ghost Rider ever piss fire in the comic book ?  No ! The comic does not resort to lowering itself by doing this kind of childish humor. How do you think Ghost Rider's creators would feel ? Would Writers Roy Thomas & Gary Friedrich and artist Mike Ploog be proud to see there creation pissing fire ? Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor should be ashamed of themselves. How about a little respect for the character Hollywood.

You are correct. No, one does not have to hate there parents to disagree with them on politics. I do also do not hate my parents and we sometime disagree on politics.  But, hating one's parents is just one reason to chose an opposite political party.

I said that "most" people from New York are liberals and vote democrat.  I did not say "all ". There are always exceptions to the rule.

Perhaps. But, how a person is raised and were they grow up has a lot to do with there political affiliation. Much like religion, politics has a lot to do with how a person was raised. If you were raised catholic, most likely you will be catholic as an adult. And if your parents were Republican or democrat than most likely you will become what they were. Unless you hate your parents, then you don't want to be anything like them so you rebel and become there opposite. The thing about generalizations and stereotypes are that they usually have some truth to them.

But, like I said this is just a guessing game. I'm just taking a guess at the political party affiliations of fictional characters. If you disagree, please tell me your guesses and why you chose them.

This sounds ridiculous. First off, I can't understand how Superman can have a citizenship of any kind.  lol I can just imagine superman siting in a little room with other immigrants filling out his application. "Himmmm ... What should I write for my name ?"  "Should I write Superman, Kal-el, or Clark Kent ? "  "What should I write for place of origin ?"  " Should I say Krypton, Smallville, or Metropolis ?"  And all the other immigrants looking at him saying " What's Superman doing here ?"  If he is a citizen, does he pay taxes ?  Can he vote ? Can he be drafted into the military ? Can he be called for Jury duty ?  lol  That's just a hilarious idea to me.

Second, It's out of character for Superman to do that. Superman is the second most patriotic superhero next to Captain America. It also sounds like Superman is giving into threats. That's something else that superman would not do. This is just like the Spider-man One More Day storyline. Spider-man would not make a deal with the devil and Superman would not renounce his U.S. citizenship. Does it sound like an interesting concept ? Yes. Should it be done ? No.  I like David S. Goyer. He is a great writer. But, this has me worried about Superman : Man of Steal. It seems that he does not know the character very well. I was also upset when in Superman:Returns they did not use the quote "Truth, Justice, and the American Way" because of political reasons.  The whole idea seem to be a publicity stunt by DC. Superman sales must be very low.

Simple answer, Reed. Reed is responsible for everything that's happened to the Fantastic Four ( good or bad ) since they gained there powers. It's Reed's experimental ship, that makes it reeds fault.

Or it's Stan Lee's fault for creating the Fantastic Four. lol  DAMN YOU STAN LEE ! lol
