If it's a good story, it will be a worthwhile one. Will the genie be put back in the bottle? Eventually. Whether it will be a revamp or some "magic spell", we'll see.

As for a reason for a secret identity, it makes it hard to live a normal life as a celebrity. Can Superman be a journalist anymore? Certainly not the same way. If Superman is a full time celebrity is he as accessible and relatable (both to the reader and to characters in the story)?

Hopefully there are some consequences to his identity being revealed. Dealing with the adjustment as a character is part of the potential of the story.

The costume looks hot and it looks like it weighs a lot. I hate the shoulder pads. I've never cared for them on Wolverine, I don't know why a superhero would wear this accessory. I'm not a big fan of changing her costume because I think there is a timeless and iconic element to it. It also dates the comics because if you think this look will last, you're wrong. It will either revert back or be revamped as something else. So when you look back at it, it will seems kind of silly. If we are going to change the costume, how about something more like Spider-Woman's new costume, or that Cliff Chang one that someone posted, maybe with the jacket from the Deodato period. This just looks too 90s and it looks really uncomfortable.

@teerack: I once felt the way you do but after every other character, Barry Allen included, has been resurrected, I think it's time to put Gwen's death to rest and change her role in the Marvel Universe. Gwen's death reduces her to nothing but a plot point. She hasn't really been a character for years. As all other characters evolved with the changing times, Gwen has been frozen in stone. Most people don't even think of the Romita stories when they think of Gwen. Her only role is to be destined to die to serve to servethe Spider-Man mythos. Gwen has become the ultimate "woman in the refrigerator". Which is a shame, because she was a great character.

I think there should have been an option for the poll... "Who care, it's fiction. The answer is going to be whatever the writer at the time wants to write it as."
