@.Mistress Redhead.: Check Minotaur Online. www.minotaur.com.au I have found a lot of stuff on there and it's Australian to so postage is fairly cheap.
I've been trying to find Superman: For All Seasons by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale in TPB Hardcover. But can only find paperback. Oh I did find a couple of first editions on ebay for $300 and a signed copy for $600. I'm thinking more around the $20-30 mark as it is a comic and not the arc of the covenant.
I have found nearly every Marvel film to be big budgeted over hyped masterpieces of s#%t. They don't have any real emotion so you never really get attached to the characters. There's no atmosphere. The plot feels like they just make it up as the go. and the script is just the characters taking sarcastic jabs at each filled in with one line jokes. Nearly every time I go to the cinema and watch a Marvel film (which is nearly all to date) I leave feeling disappointed.
I don't want to just be having a massive whinge because there are a few good ones among the trash. I loved The Amazing Spiderman and X-men First Class. I just wish they wouldn't rush trying to get the movie out and sacrifice good dialog and character development for big production effects.
@SupBatz: Okay thank you for your help. And on that note what kind of parents just name their kids the same names as theirs? HAHA...alright my Dad did it to me but my sisters have different names to my Mum.
What the hell? Is she Jim's wife or daughter? I know she is the daughter in killing joke which is where she gets shot. But in Long Halloween she's Jim's wife. Jim has a son, Jim Jr. How many Barbara Gordon's are there?
I know I'm going to be labelled "noob" and so on but I'm kinda new to DC comics (mostly only read Marvel) I just wanted to know how the universe works. In the new 52 I know "Batman" crosses over with "Batman and Robin" and "Nightwing", but does Batman Detective Comics also cross over with them? And are there others? I just bought Batman: Court of Owls and I want to get involved with all the series that tie in to each other.
