@br_havoc: Yeah, Havoc it wasnt really what you said, it was just how you said it. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, so its all cool there, it was just the tone. As for me, Im sticking with DC till the end if it ever comes to that. DC characters are just icons for people, and I think they need to stay that way. I do have some problems with DC but it deals with their Editorial, and their trade schedule, but I ignore it for the characters
I am really sad over Ravagers and Team 7, being canceled. I think there is a lot of potential for these two books. What are all your thoughts? Good or bad.
- Do you all think that these characters will get their stories explained elsewhere? Or think these books will ever be picked up again?
- What do you all think of the Bronson/Mr. Majestic dynamic in issue six? And is this cutting down on the Wildstorm part of DC, or preparing it for more Wildstorm?
- Do you guys have any favorite characters for these two books?
(Off Topic) But I love Earth 2. What hopes for characters do you have for that book?
Hope y'all have a good day.
P.S. I just listened to CV Podcast 1-18-13 with just Sara & Corey. While unorganized, I could not stop laughing. I loved it. While I wouldnt like the podcast to be like that all the time, I wouldn't mind a "podcast special" with you two being crazy funny again.
@xybernauts: I love the set-up you did for your comment/post. Looks awesome.
I loved the episode and love the fact they are bringing/adapting smaller heroes into a mainstream universe. It just sucks that YJ is to be canceled and these characters cant flourish on the show as much as I would like. I would like to consider the homo magi, as a factor of the meta gene because like you it bothers me a bit. So ill just adapt my thinking lol. Like you I think they could do a lil more with Asami, if they are going to change the gender of character, then add more of the original as inspiration.
What ticked me off the most about the episode, is the fact they made Static just a regular metahuman and not a "BangBaby". THAT should not be messed with at all it takes away from the uniqueness of the character like a "diamond in the rough." But its all a step in the right direction. Maybe the comics can take a tip or too for future progress.
This is crazy. At one point I heard Johns say in an interview that he had a five year plan for GL. I hope he passes down some of his ideas to the next writer, so some material can live on. I started really reading comics with GL trades, so I wish for good things to come to the Green Lantern titles
