This is a great idea! Enjoyed the review and it'll be a great way to practice reviewing. Please do more. Although I worry you may have to read quite a lot of cheese! Thanks
I haven't read it, but the title of the thread caught my attention. Ex Nihilo is the villain from the first arc of DC's brilliantly lunatic "Dial H". Which seems an unlikely coincidence.
I've started picking up Red Lanterns for the Rise of the Third Army tie-ins. I know little of the background to the comic, other than a quick wiki. I'm not a huge fan of Milligan's recent work and the series seems to be dissed in many quarters.
Just felt the need to say how much I love Sepulveda's art in issue 14, as well as his work on the first Stormwatch arcs. His sci fi art is spectacular, I guess part computer generated / aided, but it looks stunning, with really intricate backgrounds.
Kudos to Sepulveda.
The rest of the comic is ok, I guess. 14 was better than 13 and I'll keep following for the duration of Third Army. I'd love to see Sepulveda on another sci fi book. Hmmmm..... Fantastic Four????
Thanks for the reply. Seems odd that "Weekly Comic Book Review", which I enjoy reading, always returns a review well ahead of CV. I'm doubtful whether that site has more resource than CV. It just seems odd.
I enjoy checking reviews of the books I read and simply google the title and issue number I'm interested ie "Earth 2 #6 review". Comic Vine virtually never appears in the first few pages of results and I'm wondering why this is. It would seem to me that it harms the site through potential lost traffic. IGN are almost always first in the google results, btw.
Well, will add #1's of All New and Uncanny to the list and there's just too much love for Cable, so have to give that one a go, too. Thanks y'all. :-)
Yea bro, the Cable title should be really awesome the character itself is just really solid and always seems to find his way into the good stories. Also make sure you keep in touch and let us know what you liked and or didn't like
