MCU stories are generally more interesting than regular continuity to some people. I mean, the normal universe is very conservative, the ultimate universe is very brazen and explosive.

on a separate note...  I'm fairly sure that the Rick Leonardi Spider Man 2099 had organic web shooters before spider-man the movie or ultimate spider man. most movie ideas come from some form of alternate universe dabbling that was not generally acceptable in the normal conservative marvel universe.

Why else would he call himself "Black" Manta? considering most Manta are black and gray.
@Ryonslaught Add it to the list!

all the "super" fams powers are based on it now. superman has always had it, there were just no scientists to analyze it before so he thought he had pure super strength.

im glad. i dont think anyone can do joker like Ledger did for these versions. as far as bringing him back at all, i dont think we would need to. Batman has other villians and i trust Nolan to do a good job with whoever. i hope he does Maxi Zuess or manages his own style of The Riddler. i think they would work in his version of the batman u pretty well.

"Couple that with the fact he's possibly the laziest creation in all of comic history and that'll annoy fan's.  I can't speak for anyone else but the eventual reveal of RULK and SHE RULK's identities I think it sucks. Marvel's character's have long had the best supporting casts in comics and recently some feckin' eejit has decided it'd be a great idea to make them all super.  That sucks. "
First, i really liked the whole Rulk thing, the reveal left me laughing with surprise and being slightly impressed. They did the whole big set up and there was this obvious moment of " of course" in it. i didnt feel it was lazy at all. She Rulk was just agitating. I still dont understand the whole change of that character and i dont like the Samson thing at all. Rulk makes sense, his backup dancers dont.

as for Marvel's supporting cast, i completely agree. but keep in mind you're talking about a company who's writers live with a constant back-door retcon mentality. They'll kill anyone for a rise and they rely more on damaging and empowering supporting characters (before the inevitable resurrection) than they do on being creative and writing stories. the Savage Hulk / Son of Hulk & Banner storyline was a lot of fun. it was the last stuff i read and enjoyed when i actively stopped reading Marvel books.
