Cool list, too bad I only know less than half of these characters! I'm gonna make one of these but a top 10 list instead, maybe a top 5, lol.

I'll take # 6. Top ten! I hate that Wolverine is number 1 though. I like long shot on this list! He is one of my FAVs. Good list.

Thanks for your recommendations on my reviews and lists. I loved Wolverine, there no one like him.

@time: Hey, Cyke moved up a spot! To #5 ...hurray! And I just found out recently that Gambit, whom I've also enjoyed, is a clone of Mr. sinister and thus a sort of blood relative to Cyclops, as Gambits powers are a type of mimic/clone version of Cyclops' powers just released in a different manner. I'm okay with Gambit now more and more. No problem on the likes :-)

Gambit is a clone of Mr Sinister, where did you find that out.

@time: Several hints were made to Gambit being a third-Summers brother shortly after his introduction into the comics. His most notable similarities were to Cyclops, as both of them shared dark brown hair and red eyes. Gambit's origins prior to being adopted by the Thieves Guild were completely unknown, causing much speculation as to him possibly being the third Summer's boy. Finally, in the 12 issue, 3 part X-Men: The End series, which presented one possible future of the X-Men, established that Gambit was a genetically engineered mutant, created by Mister Sinister with his DNA spliced partially from Cyclops and Sinister himself, thus making him a third brother in some respects and explaining how Sinister was already aware of there being another Summers child. None of this has been established in the main Marvel continuity at this time.[6]

During an interview with Comic Book Resources, at the question "what's your opinion of the revelation of Gambit being the character in question over in X-Men: The End?", Fabian Nicieza answers that "My opinion is that I screwed up plenty of Chris's stories; he's more than welcome to screw up one of mine."[8]

The End was alternative reality though

@time: well, that may be true, but sometimes alternate possibilities are still viable truths. It is still true that Mr. Sinister is a mastermind geneticist and that he has had a special fascination with not only Scott Summers but also had a real 616 relationship with Gambit. It is not so far out that Gambit is still a clone of Sinister and in some weird way a kin to Scott. Scott and Remy both have very similar features, and despite the white face, Remy is identical to Sinister.
