@the_titan_lord: You can't pick a lady.
time's forum posts
You agree with what I say about Grant Morrison New X-Men too.
@time: Agreed on mostly everything except, Fraction's run....Don't get me wrong i don't think it was great, but i think he spent so much time establishing that this is Utopia/San Fran that he didn't tell one story until the end of his run. But I thought adding Magneto to the group and giving Cyclops and edge were pretty cool, plus the sheer amount of mutants/x-men in every issue was great.
@adamtrmm: What issue was Xorn in after M-Day, because i thought Vulcan got all the post M-Day power and that's what revived him? Either way, someone might wanna take one more crack at it, and touch on his motivations since he killed off Jean Grey and thats kinda a big deal.
I thought the Utopia idea was pretty good. The X-Men having there own island was cool. It how Matt Fraction wrote the characters I couldn't stand. I mean Magneto was on his Kneels hailing Cyclops as Caesar. Eric would never do that. Then he was portray as being weak and became Cyclops little-lapdog. Then Emma Frost just lived in Cyclops shadows. All Fraction and Greg Land care about was making her look good. Then Wolverine kept a lock of Jean Grey hair, Fraction turn him to a wierdo. I hate that series. I only like some of the pictures.
@mercy_: I love there work on X-Force , the Messiah Saga and on Witchblade. It's a ashamed that Mike Choi and Sonia Oback won't be joining them. Nevertheless it's still great news.
I want to scream like a teenage fanboy right now, that's how I feel lol And that's while replacing Aaron?! Send back 05 and let Bendis be replaced with Gillen in Uncanny and I got everything. Well, almost.
I'm glad there finally get rid of Jason Aaron, can't stand him as writer. If they return Jean Grey from the White Room and then send the 05 back then are be happy. Otherwise having teen Jean Grey is ok. No to Gillien, he was a boring writer. If they return Rogue I will be happy.
This is the BEST news I have heard in a long time in the X-books. I have not read Kyle's work before to my knowledge but most X-Fans seem to hold him in high regard. Yost is up there with Claremont for me when it comes to his writing of Storm and X-Men in general so...I'm excited to say the least :-).
You haven't red X-Force yet, it's amazing series. Old Ghost was the best story arc, they were all pretty good. Here images from old ghost.
The only issue with it, is Mike Choi and Sonia Oback won't be working on Amazing X-Men. Nevertheless, series will be good. There great writers. If the team is Wolverine, Storm, Kurt, Colossus, Beast, Northstar and hopefully Iceman and Firestar, then it will be great.
I just heard that Jason Aaron is leaving Amazing X-Men and Kyle and Yost are taking over. It looks like Colossus is joining series.
That is good new Colossus, Kurt, Wolverine and maybe Iceman in one team, should be amazing. With those writers it will be.
@koays: X-Men runs I wouldn't recommend
Matt Fraction has worst ever run in X-Men history. He turn Cyclops into a jerk, Emma Frost in to some sort of sex toy and Magneto into Cyclops little lap-dog and Wolverine into a weirdo. Fraction has the worst characterisations I have ever seen. Then there was Greg Land artwork that just bored you death.
Aaron ' Wolverine and the X-Men' is one worst X-Men titles I have ever red. Not only was the series very childish, it also had a lot rubbish mutants in it. Then turning Wolverine into headmaster of a school, was the worst idea ever. I think opening up a school for the new students is a good idea. Wolverine has shown that really cares about the young mutants. Should he be Headmaster of a school? Hell no. It also makes no sense, he was a leader of two hit man squads, the X-Force. He was a leader of a bunch of killers and some how, he qualified to run a school for kids. Then he betrays he own kind in the Avengers vs X-Men story arc and then goes back to be leader of the school. Yeah that make sense. Worst of all, the biggest threat to his school was a bunch of kids. The Hellfire Kids. Terrible series.
All I'm going say is his series was boring. Very boring. The most boring X-title I have ever red. While I like Magik and Colossus interactions. most of the stories were dreadful. First of it was loads of Sinisters, then Aliens again and they were fighting with Avengers and then against them. I know some people like extinction team, I thought the team was ok but stories were as boring as hell.
Finally Grant Morrison series, one of the most over-rated X-Men titles of all time. While I like some of Morrison stories and I think he wrote Emma Frost the best. I like her rivalry with Jean Grey. I think he wrote the other X-Men characters very poorly. He didn't do them much justice. He turn Cyclops into jerk and Beast look terrible and his treatment of Jean Grey was disgusting. The way he ended Scott and Jean Grey marriage was disgusting. He no understanding of it and not respect for there relationship. Most of the artwork in the series was dreadful.
After reading the series I was left feeling disappointed and disgusted at the same time. and I think Grant Morrison is a naive and arrogant twat for writing this series the way he did.
I am still surprise people even like this series.
Which fan are you ? Please pick a option and give your reasons.
1) Love Jean Grey and hate Emma Frost
2) Love Emma Frost and hate Jean Grey
3) Love both ladies and I hate the way there both been treated, just so Cyclops can benefit.
4) I like them both, but I like one more than the other.
5) Can't stand these two ladies, I prefer Storm, Kitty and Rogue etc.
How do feel when Emma Frost replace Jean Grey as X-Men leading lady and Cyclops woman. Did Scott and Emma have a better relationship then Jean and Scott. Did Emma Frost make the X-Men comics and the X-Men team better when she replace Jean Grey.

Magneto#1: I thought was pretty good. Eric seems to have his own agenda, that's is to hunt people who hurt mutants and that seems pretty cool. This could end up being a good series. The only thing I didn't like about the issue was the artwork, it's pretty horrible. You think they would find a better artists for Magneto solo series.
Uncanny X-Men#18 : I thought was a good issue. A decent Cyclops issue. I like the interaction between adult Cyclops and teen Cyclops. I also like what Teen Jean said to adult Cyclops. Cyclops lived it and she can't imagine it.
Wolverine and the X-Men, I think is still the same, there still too many mutants in one comic. Half time it was confusing.
